Something is terribly missing on our team...we can all see it...we dont win big games for the most part...its all about heart...and we dont have it....i dont care how many regular season games wade has won, it means nothing because he does not hold the players accountable like jimmy says you have to so he is not getting everything out of the players....the coach must bring the best out of our players

What are you talking about??? Wade is the greatest head coach to ever step foot on an NFL field. Period. I hope Jerry signs him to a good long lucrative 5 year deal. We need the continuity.

Another negative bash Wade thread? Are you calling the team losers? Don't you know the players are standing up for Wade against the big bad media? Don't you know he has a master plan to solve our kicking woes? :D

...these guys have to learn how to win...they have to learn what kind of consistent intensity is required to get these late season games...i thought that beating Philly at the Linc met that they had turned a corner...but i'm not so sure after the Giants game...

Jimmy had a "hammer" and he used it to almost lethal effect quite often, especially late in the season, where players are beat up mentally and physically from cumulative stress...Johnson was a bully who made fear a science while he was in Dallas, but he drove those guys to such heights i'm sure that they look back with an appreciation, if not admiration, for what Johnson meant to the entire organization...however, his intolerance and indignation had a toxic effect on Jerry Jones, as well as a few players...

Wade Phillips could never be that guy and it's pointless for the media to continue to berate him for qualities he does'nt seem to possess in enough quantities to move this team to the level it needs to achieve post-season success...besides, Johnson's style of coaching can only be tolerated for so long before either the coach burns out or the players quit...Johnson admitted this himself, as he was tired of being the bad guy...the guy with the hammer, while Jones reaped what Johnson saw as undeserved credit...

Wade Phillips' training camp was harder than any of Parcells' camps.

You guys buy into the media crap wayyy too much.

This team just hasn't found a way to win the important games late in season, and the funny part is, as soon as they do, all the credit will be thrown to the players and Wade won't get any.

Wade might not be the best coach ever, but if one thing is for certain it is that we need continuity. I hope whoever the Cowboys next coach is we can stick with him for a while.

It all boils down to execution, not giving up big plays, and making the plays when your number is called. Marty B's drop on the opening drive was a killer. I was convinced we were going to get points on that drive, but his drop killed that. Mentally this team has to stay focused and do their jobs, not anyone elses.

If only other teams never dropped the ball, or execute, or win big games, or leadership, or kicking, or a good defense, or a running back with a better than 3.4 average or a good qb, or a good receiver, or a good TE, a good sack guy,

IF ONLY THIS TEAM COULD BE PERFECT IN EVERY ASPECT!!!!!!!!!!!!! Because all other teams are!!!!!!!!!!

DO playoff wins get you SB's? How many playoff wins do you have to get to get a SB victory? If you arent getting to the big game all the playoff games dont matter either.

If the players would just all do their jobs and the officiating wasn't so bad it looks like it is controlled by organized crime, Wade would be a great coach.

Oh, occasionally Wade may make a mistake, but the overwhelming majority of the time it is the players who are dropping the passes, fumbling the ball away, not staying in their coverage lanes, moving before the ball is snapped, not catching passes that hit them right between the numbers, missing field goals, running 3rd down routes 2 yards short of the 1st down marker, etc.

If the Boys would just quit doing all of this stuff they could go straight to the SuperBowl. They don't need a coach to fix any of it. The coaches tell them what to do, but they just don't do it. A new coach won't fix any of this because the players have known how to do all of these things correctly since they were kids.

If they just go out and do their jobs, they will go to the Super Bowl. Wade will go with them, but only the players can get them there.
