Trey Lance has never accomplished anything in the NFL. If you want to insert him as the QB1 for the Dallas Cowboys “TODAY” the Cowboys would lose every game for the rest of the season. What kind of sense would that make? And, note, Dak Prescott will still have to be paid. Dak will still get his money. There is no “moving on” from paying him, only playing him. Your suggestion makes no sense.

I think there are two ways to build a SB team in todays NFL.

1. Good team- great quarterback

2. Great team-good quarterback

Cowboys currently have a good team and average quarterback.

He just doesn’t make big plays and I think he’s easy to guard, no deep ball threat. Cover 2 and press our receivers and jump the underneath.

Cooks is fast and tiny. Dak cant hit a green Giant much less a guy like Cooks 35 yards down the field. No clue why he gets so many redzone looks. Hes not out jumping anyone for a TD.
Gallup has lost his trot. Serviceable but overpaid.
The rest have shown little to nothing.

agreed. CD had some early drops that were simply bad. Most of them lately are not so well placed passes or timing was a lil weird. He will never have Jerry Rice or Irvin's hands but thats a high mark.
