It Doesn't Appear That Dak Is A Sure Thing For Next Week Either

The chances of Dak playing next week are better since he will probably get more reps. Even if he's limited again, if he does actual team drills instead of individual work he should start.

The fact he basically got no actual practice reps this week was probably a big factor in him sitting tonight too.

I wonder if his injury is significantly worse than what is being let on and the team is just trying to keep it quiet so opposing teams don't fully prepare for just Rush Cooper.

Didn’t look too serious when he walked onto the field

Lol the next Wentz. What a joke. Gets paid and gets injured. I really want him to succeed, but if this becomes a problem, we’re doomed .

Injuries happen, and he only had the big injury last year that affected Dallas. It's not a systemic issue. Romo in the last 2 years was glass..

he’s getting older and got injured off of a non-contact injury. Plus, now that he’s paid, he has less incentive to play through and injury to get that check. I don’t blame him, but I am saying we need to have a backup plan in case he keeps getting injured.

Curious how these guys get hurt after a BIG pay day...... But I think it's more on Jerry then Dak on this one. Dr. Jerry being cautious.

A real leader would be out there playing, Tyron Smith has constant issues but is out there, Amar Cooper is battling through injuries but is out there, you're a leader then tell the coaching staff you're playing, end of story

Good...sit him at least one more week, maybe even both! With those next two opponents at home, Cooper Rush should be able to at least get one win. Tonight though...no chance! He will get his first experience and it won't be pretty but it will just get him ready for next week

Remember the last time Dak played in a game without practicing all week? It was in 2019 after he hurt his shoulder and went out and was off target all game long in that 17-9 loss to Philly. If he went out there tonight without TWO weeks of practice (don't forget the bye) and struggled this forum would be all over him for hurting the team and being selfish. I could guarantee that.

If the injury was really bad or he aggravated it. He would not have worked out three days or came to the game today. Relax. If we some how win tonight would giving Dak another week off against Denver will be a bad thing?

I'm thinking the same thing. A win tonight changes a lot and maybe gives Dak even more recovery time. A loss and he'll possibly be hurried back.
