I made a thread last week about Bill being to conservative on Offense and everyone just blew me off. Well guess freaking what? We lose another game because Bill is too conservative !

Two turnovers in the redzone and he is ok with a field goal!

Im so sick of Bill and his conservative game plan. You need to score in todays NFL. You need to put teams away. If you leave teams in the game like this you will lose half of them.

I feel bad for a great defensive effort!

And I don't blame Bledsoe at all! It should have never came down to that.

What a joke!

Bill needs to go! This isnt the late 80's or early 90's NFL!

You can Play to not lose! You play to freaking Win!

You would think he would have learned from the Commanders, Giants games.

Screw Bill!

I notice Gibbs understands the meaning of "going for the kill".

Skins have an explosive O. They don't let up when they're up by 6.

No....maybe if BP wouldn't allow opposing teams to dictate what HE does on offense it would be different.

Just listen to what he said last night....he wanted to keep their offense off of the field.....that's why the game was called the way it was.

He's got pansyitis....yet AGAIN.

He's only had ONE game where he went after it.....that was Philthy.....who could bring better pressure than Seattle ever could.....yet he called the game totally differently due to how HE felt about their offense. Idiocy!

I'm actually glad we ran the ball a lot yesterday. The way Bledsoe was throwing the ball, we probably would have given up more points.

We were sacked FIVE times. How is that conservative? Pull your head out, and watch the game.

I agree, but bill doesnt need to go. He has completely transformed this team from a group of nobodys to a team with such talent that we expect to win every week, even against one of the better teams in the NFC. This is a huge turnaround and bill deserves all the respect in the world for that. Dont blow him off too quick the season is almost halfway through and we have a lot to learn and change. Hopefully bill realizes this before its too late.

We ran two trick plays and tried to score with 14 seconds left on the clock (opposed to kneeling for overtime). How is that freaking conservative? Did you see how our o-line was blocking? Did you see how Drew was throwing? Did you see our receivers drop balls and penalties negate plays? Get a clue.

always running the ball with two smallish backs who never do a ******* ****ing thing in the ****ing red zone is horse****. Throw the ****ing ball Bill its worked before, why the **** dont u do it again u dip****. Stop running hte ball up the ****ing gut for 1 yd a play and get the ball in the ****ing end zone. thats what keyshawn is for, he's 6'4 for christ sake, throw the ball to him like Randy Moss, hes shown he can handle it already in the game. We have Witten also, two huge targets for an easy touchdown and we run the ball behind our weak *** line that never gets a ****ing push worth a damn in the red zone.

IMO gibbs has really outcoached BP. Gibbs has shown he CAN actually adjust to today's game. When is Parcells going to do that? Gibbs is getting his team wins that shouldnt be there, and Parcells is losing games that should be sure wins. Gibbs is kicking parcells *** so far this year doing a lot more with a lot less.

I hate to break this to you, being that your obviously a HUGE Cowboys fan and must know everything about your team, but Parcells doesn't call the plays. Our players are the ones who put games away not the coaching staff anyway. THat has to be a players mentality.
To many penalties and missed blocks by the coaching staff.
What about the flea flicker. Coaches really blew that one as well.

I believe he was conservative in the redzone, but I wish he'd been conservative after the holding penalty on Pettitti, two short completions, and a foolish challenge earlier cost us another timeout....instead we're throwing the ball in the worst of situations when only a deep, and I mean deep out on the sideline couldn't possibly put us in anything but the longest of FG attempts...that seemed foolishly risky.

Some have argued that he takes risks when he should be conservative and that he's conservative when he should be opening it up...yesterday was a good example, imo.

Nevertheless, Bledsoe had a bad game, Pettitti and our probowl RG had bad games, Witten dropped a long completion right in his hands on the sideline, the new long snapper kept snapping the punts far to the punter's right, but snapped both FG attempts into the holder's body, one worse and higher than the other...I'll also argue that Romo is NOT a good holder...when the snap isn't perfect, he seems to have a hard time getting it down in the right location...having the ball down and laces spun means nothing if it's inches to the right or left of the desired spot....when the kicker puts his plant foot down and the ball is spotted off target, you can count on the kicker pulling or pushing it, just like a golfer when the ball takes a little roll on a hill in the middle of your swing.

Next game we may have to go back to helping Pettitti and see if Tucker can hold down his side alone because it's clear that Pettitti cannot block the guys in the NFL without help....yet. The only alternative is to help them both and have fewer guys in the pattern.

I wish Witten had stopped his pattern on the QB roll out on the goalline...he would have been all alone, but he ran into the coverage and Bledsoe didn't react appropriately and throw the ball a little behind him since no one was there.

Lots of things went wrong in this game...it reminded me of all the 13-10 losses under Campo....I'm not sure if we've ever won a 13-10 game....we seem to always lose them...luckily last week we got it up to 16pts.

But their offense is racking up yardage like crazy...they are clearly far above us on offense, though we're closing the gap a little on defense.

i agree to some extent. obviously cortez blew it again. But when u get into the red zone, and every team knows youre going to run it , and all you do is run it. then you need to rethink the goalline strategy. didnt u see how well playaction with polite worked, and how easy it is to get the ball to key and witten in the end zone? So why arent we doing that? Were doing exactly what the d wants us to do which is get to the redzone, run a couple times for no yards then kick a field goal. everyteam knows this is coming, and they stop it.

Some one voiced the opinion earlier that we should go with a spread formation on occasion. And I agree.

In his first year here, if you recall, Parcells often would employ 3 wides and then run the ball out of that formation.

This jumbo formation crap on every short yardage play is nutz.

We were in spread on that sack. Witten was open in the middle of the Endzone, but our O-line got dominated. People really can't complain about conservative play calling Yesterday when our O-line was utterly dominated. In past weeks sure, but not Yesterday.
