Philly has had a love hate relationship with Brown since got here. Half the fanbase wanted to run him out of town when he didn't hit 30 HRs his first season. Philly sports radio accused him of being lazy, not a philly guy, not enough hustle and grit ect. Then suddenly he starts popping home runs and everyone has to backtrack and pretend they liked him the whole time.

I would post some of the Phillies fan responses because they are pretty funny. Sadly this is a family site so I am out of luck haha.
