So the whole trailer has to be flat and the same height? The little part that's raised higher close to the truck doesn't make it "flat"?

Ok, you win. You get the random thread of the day. Meanwhile turtles everywhere have itchy tails because they can't do a thing about it.

Typically the load only requires 25-30 feet of a "Flat" surface. We have 43ft on the lower deck, 10 feet on top, 53 feet total. 9.99 times out of 10 it can be done it's just that sometimes you get Freight Brokers that can't think outside the box. We always ask them the dimensions of the load and they clam up, usually because they don't know what they are doing. Are you a freight broker?

I think I understand your rant. You have something that is effectively as efficient at getting the job done as a "flatbed" yet sometimes people insist on using a "flatbed" even though the alternative would be just as good.

Is that the issue here?

I'm still not sure why you made a thread out of this though. :D

Essentially it's because they don't know what they are doing because they are paper pushers but yeah we don't have a rant section. Freight is hard to come by right now and it's frustrating to not be able to take a load when clearly we can.

No I'm just an ordinary financial analyst.

So they are saying this is a flatbed and the other one isn't?

Well technically my trailer is a "Step Deck," which makes it special.:laugh2:

Well, unlike the Cowboys, I will be appreciating the dollar bill more than ever. At least it can still give me four quarters.

Again...God,I hate not being in the playoffs!
Start your own rant thread.:spanking:

My driver just blew out a tire in the middle of nowhere:mad:

Road side assistance is gonna cost $400-$700:banghead:

No one's trying to disregard or demean your rant. With the way you started this thread out, it's just like you handed us a 212 page book to read and all the pages are blank up to page 210.
