The GM wants to win a SB he just doesn’t know how to build a team

The HC wants to play aggressive mistake free football but he just doesn’t have the power to enforce discipline and accountability

The QB wants to be clutch but he just doesn’t know how to read defences and is easily confused

The team wants to run the ball but they just don’t have the OL

:muttley::muttley:
I hate it when the truth depresses me.

I don’t disagree. People can call it being a homer but I watch other teams play and I’ve never seen a team get worse calls at the most crucial times.

And yet there are those on this very forum who will swear that the Cowboys don't get the shaft from the refs.. Even though we can see with our own eyes that Tyron simply punked his man but somehow a ref will wait until the other ref is about to spot the ball to decide he saw holding and brings back a big gain. There are those who call this a "conspiracy" theory and the league has no bias against the Cowboys. Cowboy players have like a dozen rules enacted in their names.. Never mind the fact that the commissioner of the league is a lifelong Commander fan.. who grew up with season tickets. And let's not forget that most refs are between the ages of 35 and 65.. which means that for most of them during their fan formative years they watched the Cowboys spank their favorite team. Now that doesn't mean they consciously set out to screw the Cowboys.. but them childhood scars run deep.. and deep in the recesses of their minds there is still that 12 year old kid watching Emmitt or Tony D stomp all over their favorite team or Roger or Troy carve them up. And I guarantee you that little kid pops up every once in a while. That's why it doesn't need to be a "conspiracy." I mean does it need to be a conspiracy when a million people go see a movie one weekend and 90% of them hate it? Did they all jump on a Zoom call and agree to destroy it on social media? Point being.. the Cowboy-hate is organic.. No conspiracy needed.

That is a fact. Total penalties never tells the story. I’ve seen both Dak and Romo have to pass for 120 yards just to move the ball 80 yards in a game winning drive because of penalties at crucial times

With the exception of just a handful of forum members, I think the officiating is one thing we may all agree on.
Yeah there’s the group out there that doesn’t want to blame refs and they for sure aren’t the sole reason but anyone who watches this knows it’s ridiculous.

Who are these three elite WRs?

Cooper, Lamb, and Gallup all have elite traits and abilities. That was hands down one of the best trios of receivers in at least Cowboys history. Add in Schultz who is almost exclusively a receiving TE, and a very good one, and it’s no surprise that passing attack, not blind devotion to a floundering running game, helped the Cowboys to the #1 total offense. You run your team to its strengths. You dont force a style on a wholly incorrect personnel.
