It is Cowboys MONTH in Washintgton, DC

According to Talking Cowboys, instead of Cowboys week leading up to the season opener, it is Cowboys month leading up to the Sunday Night game. For four weeks, they are working themselves into a frenzy over the Dallas Cowboys. Those people really need to get lives.

Mickey and Rob also talked about how the people in Dallas do not get so excited about the Commanders. They compared it to Texas and Texas A&M. I'm not familiar with that rivalry, but I imagine the hook 'em fans don't get as excited as the A&M fans. Anyway, the Cowboys are going to find themselves in the middle of a bunch of crazed psychos in the nation's capital. The solution is to score early and often. It will also help that half of the crowd will be dawning blue. I just hope the Cowboys are up to the challenge.

I live here too, in Mont. Co. and those idiots are talking big noise already. Their sports radio, WTEM and WFAN are extremely entertaining. Them blowing out the Bills has put them on top of the Div. according to their fans..

Mont. Co! I'll be up in PG County probably next weekend visiting with my fiancee's aunt.

I love this area despite the Commanders. I want to make it my home here....but the Army tries to keep me away. Luckily I'll be here for 3 years.

I can't wait until PGC 95.5 starts up the Commanders songs...if they still do that anymore - I've been gone for a while!

They are going to do everything they can in the preseason from fans getting mad and whining about stuff. they are putting alot of weight on that opener.

If they lose it could mess with there mental state for a while.

It's my brother, he use to troll here as "redskin1" until he was banned a few times. He still reads the board daily though. He's completely clueless to the game of football and believes everything some Ex-Foreskin says. His lack of knowledge for the game has become very entertaining though...

Good. I'd love nothing more than to see their sorry faces after the Cowboys beat them to start their season on a sour note. It would be sort of reminsicent of that Sunday night game at Philly where they were in a frenzy until the Cowboys starting blowing them out like nobody's business. You could hear a pin drop at the Linc. Priceless.
