Man, it feels so good to be in the hunt of things in December. Man, this feels great!

I was just telling a buddie of mine the same thing. We have been there in December last year, and in 03, but really didn't have any confidence that even if we made the playoffs it would be a one and done. It is GREAT to have REALISTIC goals of winning the division, and a chance at a Super Bowl.

aren't we in the same situation at the same time, in past superbowl Win years???

It's amazing the parallels between this season and the '05 season - up until this week. This is where the path splits, which is a very good thing.

yup

we lose today, and we're looking at another '05 repeat

good to see us taking the other route in the fork in the road this time

Cowboy haters will be move visible then ever this week.

Well, since the critics never mention it when we're winning ....

"You are what you are."

Gee, I guess we're a first-place team that can beat a good team on the road and win four in a row. Better fire the coaches.

More than alive, fighting for homefield should Chicago be exposed prior to January. But man it will be tough to play at Soldier Field if that nasty weather continues, yikes!

The one thing that Chicago has in their favor is that they seem to have the softest schedule in the NFL this year. Their remaining games are:

Dec 11 @St. Louis
Dec 17 Tampa Bay
Dec 24 @Detroit
Dec 31 Green Bay

Their offense has been horrible, but I'm their defense is so good they could win those remaining games by themselves (like they did today).

What are the chances they lose in the second round at home? Grossman could easily suck it up and then the we would avoid that nasty weather all together. This may be our only hope, considering their soft remaining schedule
