I can’t tell you how many times I think that on this message board. I have to take breaks from getting on here.

I've got a feeling it'll be 18 sooner than later. Maybe even as soon as next year. People didn't actually think we'd have a 17 game season at this point last year. 17 is just awkward and will be evened out soon so one team won't have that slight marginal edge of an extra home game come SB time. (This year the AFC.)

That 18th game will probably be another intraconference placement game, but this time opposite home/away.

With the tie being because we punted from the enemy 36 yard line on 4th and 1 with about a minute left in OT.

Yes, but if all you did was read this board, you would think we were fighting for the last playoff spit versus having the fourth best record in the entire league (possibly third best depending on tonight's outcome) and worst case scenario of two games away from the best record in the league.

We don't have a great track record of finishing strong.
This year does seem different for sure and we should cheer them on. But....I don't blame anyone for being a little cautious.
