It is Prove it to me time again!

Last year this team caused me to lose all confidence in the players and their mental toughness. They had gone a long ways in the past 12 weeks to regain my favor with them only to blow it all in one afternoon.

They are going to have to prove it again over the next few weeks - to themselves first and foremost and to us fans 2nd of all.

We just can't trust them!


I said last week that this game was a mental hurdle that this team needed to overcome and I really thought they would do it but, with that performance, they have made it much tougher on themselves for the rest of the season!

Again, I am in the minority but I felt there was a good chance that the Cowboys would lose because of the fact that we were on the road, in cold weather against a team with their backs against the wall.

I am more interested in seeing how this team responds after another loss in December and against a team that is "perceived" by most as a legit AFC Contender.

I just got a feeling the wheels will come off late in this game.

We will play a good game and at some point we will just lose focus, get sloppy with the football, and hand them the game.

We just can't get out of our own way and its not Wades fault anymore. Its the players.

Lets be honest here. This team has proven one thing throughout the season. They are consistent at beating themselves and playing stupid. This symptom goes back before Wade and it is not a sign of champions.

It is why the mall cops defend Dallas on this site unless after a loss like yesterday, of course. This team has the ability to play great, yet they mentally lose focus and the game. Leaving us all wondering why this club teases us with signs of greatness.

If the team could manage to play a clean & full potential ball game they could DESTROY any team in the league.

Will this team ever find it?
