Our problem plain and simple is our O-Line. That is it, check it off and realize it.

No Offense in Football can do anything with an inferior O-Line, Period!

Flozell's loss has been huge, just huge.

You can blame play-calling all you want, it dont matter.

If you cant run block or pass protect it does not matter what you call. Period!

You can blame Bledsoe all you want, but when you get blasted everytime you go back to pass, it is over FOR ANY QB.

Blame this, blame that, but the O-Line has a RT that is getting exploited, a LT that has no business being there, and we get pushed all around in the middle because we dont have a Center.

When we play a real good D-Line like today we just can not function that well.

This offense went down, when Flo went down, period!

Now all is not lost for this season though. Folks do not give up! If the season ended today we would be in the playoffs. We still can win the NFC East, but we just need some help. I have not given up on that. We can win the last 4 games IMO, but the question will be how well we can cover up our O-Line.

Regardless I am proud of this team, but know WE HAVE TO UPGRADE OUR O-LINE this off-season like we did the D-Line last off-season. We do that this team will make a lot of noise and cause a lot of damage.

I agree, it is by far the worst part of our entire team. Draft = tackle 1st rd. tackle 2nd rd. guard 3rd rd center 5th.

Not sure if we are blind or just the fact we are rooting soo much for the guys on our o-line cause that is all we have until the next off-season.

Agree 100 percent

They can't run block or pass protect.

I blame the OL because the have put fear in BLedsoe, Bledsoe does not have confidence back there. He's so afraid somebody's coming that he just plain sucks. The guy is playing scared to death, wondering where the next hit is coming from. Untill Bledsoe, and our O get' confidence we will lose every single game for the rest of the year.

We will not win much if we cannot do better then today. The ONLY good thing is that only the Panthers have a good D line of the 4 teams we face to end the year. That could be ONE UGLY GAME. But we got a shot at the other three.

And... whose job was it to fix the o-line in the offseason? Hmmm...

I'd say go for Tackles via FA.

I don't care how much it costs, we see too many games being affected by sub-par play by our tackles. How can you put a price on it?

It was your fault...I lay it ALL at your feet.

If it happens again you are a goner.

Yea. It hurts the run game and pass protection obviously. But i think it goes a lot deeper than that. Rather than having 1 man in to pass protect and help pettiti, they need to keep 2. Which means 3 man routes, which means more double teams and more ability to blitz. 3 man routes will just kill an offense

Jacob Rogers could have been a premiere Tackle-until his injury. Lest everyone forget how Marco Rivera injured his back in the offseason lifting weights. Flo, of course too.

BTW-welcome to the salary cap world.

Yep.

OL has to be retooled... either that or something has to happen.

We've squandered some picks for sure. Rogers, check. Peterman, close to check. Al Johnson, I'm thinking of forming a check.

We'll need to get eventual replacements for Allen/Rivera. Luckily, OG's do not typically go early.

A RT? Well, Rob is young, but is he a backup or a starter is the ultimate question.

Something has to be done or we aren't going anywhere.

Oh, and every single hole on the team was supposed to be filled with All-Pro players this past offseason. I forgot about that. Oh and the fact when Flozell Adams went down, there were several All-Pro LTs out on the street looking for jobs. Get real.

So in place of confidence, Drew needs to show some heart. He had a good amont of chances to make throws and many of them were just off.

Yes the 'O' line was soft today. However, Drew sucked when he had opportunities to make plays.

Didn't the Panthers go from 4-12 to the Super Bowl in one year? It was something like that. Well, if you want wait a few years, that's your problem.

O-line is to blame!! I was disappointed to see our free agent aquisition being man handled like a little boy ... yep that was Rivera being pushed into Bledsoe on more than one occasion!

on a side note, JJ showed up pretty well today. He was the single bright spot in the offense. Leading reciever and rusher ...

And it would be nice to have a REAL full back to help with both the run and pass protection.

Dude, Flo was part of the problem. His absence has hurt, but his reappearance won't solve much. Bill's Stone Age approach to offense is the bigger culprit.
