I disagree tremendously.
Carr is a very good QB. He needs a line. VY wouldnt be able to run as much and would have had even WORSE passing stats if he was behind that line. Bush would have no holes. The success of a team starts in the trenches. Not a single team with a horrible offensive line has ever drafted a QB and had him be successful and the team be successful.

His numbers were not gaudy to say the least....but when it was time to win the game...he nutted up and won the game.

Without Young on offense or Jones on defense I doubt the Titans win a freakin game, that is how bad they were playing with Collins in there.

To say they won in spit of Young is absolutely foolish...I guess UT won a National Championship in spite of Young as well.

and for the record....Young outperformed the two golden boy QB prospects, Leinart and Cutler, from his same draft class.

Thank goodness we're not getting Fischer. You're right, he would have been fired if he hadn't drafted VY... And he didn't even want to draft him. (Bud and GM pushed for Vince vs. Fischer and Chow wanting Leinhart.)

Fischer can take credit for two first rounders: Albert Haynesworth (the stomper) and PacMan Jones who is arrested every other week. Do you really want a coach that would have been fired if he hadn't been saved by one player (who he didn't even want).
