The media at the Super Bowl are not talking about why the Colts are not hosting the game. There is some talk of Manning's status, but nothing like the buzz last year with Dallas not hosting.

I am so shocked. [/sarcasm]

Just like the Giants losing in the divisional round at home as a #1 seed in 2008.

I like all the media hate too, but I don't remember Colts talking openly about playing in SB at home stadium, ala, Jerry did. So most of the fault lies in Jerry and then high profile nature of cowboys, especially when they failed to spectacularly in 2010.

So part of that deal was Jerry and part of deal is everything with cowboys is obviously magnified.

Really? I would think that the reason is pretty obvious, and there is no need to talk about it.

Although, to be fair, that usually doesn't stop the media.

Besides the Colts not going into the season with their owner talking of being the first to play the superbowl at home, their most important player was not even available due to injury. While the Cowboys started the season healthy. Big difference.

Ding, ding ding! While my simple reply of "Jerry Jones" was being facetious (based on zoners wanting to blame him on EVERYTHING), this was my first thought. Jerry just can't help himself.

Bull****! and you know it. If anything Jones was trying to down play that talk. But it was asked over and over and over again. What's he supposed to say? Ahh no I don't want to play in the SB in our own stadium. I like to make it every year but this one........

Power of the Star Hos, power of the Star. I like how the Giants pass rush and Peyton's neck / future has dominated the headlines most of the week. If I'm a certain team called the Patriots I'm soaking that up and I'm ticked off / motivated as hell.

I didn't pay attention last year.

Haven't paid any attention this year.
