It looks like there is some fire to go along with the smoke that has Philly trading to no 1.

This is so interesting on so many levels. It is said that Tenn has a solid offer for pick no 1 and it is rumored to be Philly.

http://www.bleedinggreennation.com/...iladelphia-trade-top-5-picks-quarterback-mmqb

I am extremely hopeful that this happens for so many reasons. First of all Philly would have to sell their soul for the pick. We are probably looking at a trade similar to what Wash did to land RGIII. Philly already has a ton of resources tied to the QB position and they are trying to sign Fletcher Cox to a long term deal and he is balking. HAHA!

If this happens it means 2 qb's would likely be taken in the top 3 picks meaning Ramsey or Tunsil would be guaranteed to be there at 4.

If Ramsey is there you take him. If Tunsil is there then we probably get the opp to trade down and would likely have multiple teams bidding for the pick.

If Philly does this and they miss on Wentz they could set their team back for years. They will be forced to overpay for FA's just like Wash did with Hatcher and others because they would be limited in draft capitol for a while.

This is setting up to very interesting indeed. Only time will tell if this is fire or smoke but for the first time I am thinking there could be some legitimacy to this rumor. Do it Philly!

If this is true then Pederson might be dumber than Chip. Pay 2 QB's that kind of money and then get the #1 pick money as well for 3 QB's. Unless they decide to trade Bradford that is......hmmmm

They would need to get to 3000 pts in value.

The 8th is worth 1400 and they don't have a second and their 3rd is worth 200.

So that is still 1400 points which would be their 2017 and 2018 1sts at least.

It would be be very very expensive to get a guy like Wentz.

Yes, they would have to sell their soul. It will hurt for years. IMO

It works for me as long as SD takes Ramsey. I hate the ideal of Dallas drafting Ramsey about as much as I hate the thought of Bosa being the pick. If Tunsil drops to us, we'll be able to trade down and target Zeke. But, I fear if Ramsey drops to us, he'll be the pick. And, I'm not sold on Ramsey as a CB, and we just spent a #1 last year on a FS.

The chart isn't used as much as we once thought. Either way only way I see them being able to make the move is if they trade next year first w this year's.

Apologies if this has already been posted, did not see it in a quick scan of the Draft Zone.

From the Great Blue North Draft Report:

Right on cue from our report earlier this morning, Will Brinson of CBS Sports is reporting that Tennessee has a ‘solid’offer’ from at least one team for the top pick at this month’s draft. And while it is important to note that he is just speculating, Brinson figures that it is Philadelphia, not San Francisco, which has made the offer which Tennessee reportedly would like to see ‘sweetened’. As we have noted previously, the possible problem for the Eagles is while they have 9 picks overall this year, they do not currently have a second rounder. The other question for the Eagles if they were in fact able to swing this deal, is what happens to incumbent starter Sam Bradford who was recently extended. One wonders if indeed the Eagles are serious about moving up if Bradford then becomes the trade bait to get Philadelphia over the top, although we stress that at this time there is absolutely nothing out there to indicate that he is on the block.

They pretty much have to throw in next year's first round pick and then some to make up the difference.

Tennessee is not going to just give the pick away, they will want something close to what the Rams got in the RG3 trade.

My guess is 1/8...plus both 3rds this year.....their #1 in 2017 and Cox.

Not the worst package....especially if you consider trading down and getting Ronnie Stanley OT Notre Dame as the consolation prize.

He's not that big of a drop after Tunsil.

The problem is that Cox is in the last year of his contract so he might be a one-year rental.

If I am the Titans, I want picks and not players in the trade. Something like the 8th pick, both 3rds, and their 1st and 2nd in 2017.

We should give them #4 for that amount.

Let them have Wentz or Goff, we'll take Lynch this year and the two best pass rusher in 17&18!

I read an article similar to this and they said that it will not be a RG3 type trade-3 first rounders. No one is going to get that type of trade any more because the qbs are not as good. If the Titans trade the pick and do not get an RG3 type trade, they could go down as one of the dumbest franchise in the history of sports, imo.
