That's one book and character that freaked me out as a kid.

That's not the Tim Curry version for sure...hopefully they still have some of those qualities where he's still approachable, but it doesn't appear so. That's what made it so creepy.

The part where the father kills the child in the garage, and the child asks his daddy why he was doing it and said he loved him (child to father) actually teared me up. Stephen King is a guilty pleasure of mine in literature.
