With the way things are going right now, the reaction I've been hearing about the upcoming Saturday game is how the Cowboys have no chance of winning in New Orleans.
The way people have been talking, you think the Saints should be forfeited the win before Saturday and Dallas should not even showing up.
This is what I've read:
"the annual December downturn has hit in the form of a two-game losing streak that isn't likely to end Saturday night at the Superdome."
"Forfeit the Dec. 19 visit to New Orleans. Concentrate on the other four stretch-run games."
"Forfeit the New Orleans game. Just don’t go."
"we know the beatdown that awaits in New Orleans the following week."
I have a sneaking suspicion that this could be bulletin board material, since everyone in the country is going to pretty much say Saints win big.
But.... we've seen stranger things happen.
Remember- Washington, on the road, 1991.
Similarly, that Dallas team was traveling to face a team like this year's Saints- a killing machine in their turf.
