It was Bradie James NOT Shanle

I haven't been reading too many articles lately. Have there really been a lot of places saying it was Shanle?

in this weeks Dallas Cowboys Oficial Weekly on page 4 Mike Rabun
even said "Dallas linebacker Scott Shanle blocked McNabb to the ground...."

so even those guys didnt get it right.

Madden repeatedly said Shanle even after Al Michaels corrected him. Then on ESPN they said Shanle led Roy Williams past McNabb. Then I read in the USA today it was Shanle even with the picture above it and number 56 right there.

Shanle and Dat are hard to tell apart though. Especially when Dat's jersey rolls up in the back. Looks just like 58.
Dat would be the tiny one, who often does a great impersonation of a PANCAKE! ;)

Madden actually corrected himself later -- after the commercial.

That's just bad journalism -- these guys are relying on Madden's call of the game -- rather than their own observations. Problem is these sportswriters need to work so quickly to get something on the web page -- and are doing so without adequate support staffs -- that they are writing stories without any chance to review for accuracy.

Just another example of bad reporting brought to you by the failure to limit media monopolies.

Yeah, as our leading tackler in tackles per game he does lay a lot of people flat.

You must be one of the few that think that. Seems the bulk of the board had "tiny" Dat totally confused with "massive" Shanle.

You know... You guys are always talking about how you hope one day people are not seen by the color of their skin and now all of the sudden you want someone to somehow recognize that one guy is black and the other is white... talk about hypocrisy!! ;)

I'm curious as to how you do an impersonation of a pancake? Do you lay down flat on the ground, rub butter on yourself and then let someone pour the syrup all over you! :laugh2: Sound like Dat may get a little kinky.

That is exactly how you do it.

I haven't seen a single mention of it being Shanle.
Just about every sports show I've seen has mentioned Shanle. Not sure about articles.

Its plain and simple regurgitation. Madden said it and they listened.

Anyone watch the Peter King bit on Inside the NFL? He was in getting a pulled pork sandwich during what appeared to be the game.

Per Mickey's mail the Philly media messed it up even with a picture of Bradie
dropping McChuck #56 to be sure. Mick said just ask Bradie he will tell you :)

Madden also messed it up but Al corrected him it seems as if Madden was calling Terry Glenn ...A Glenn a bit as well though he later corrected himself.

I think it was because they thought they saw #58 Shanle... when it was in fact #56 Braaaaaaaddddddiiiieeee JAAAAAAAAAAAMES!
