I know, I know. We've heard it all. It was the refs. It was the Oline. It was Bledsoe. It was JJ's bad decisions. It was the WRs. Hey, it was all of them.
Wanna point the finger at the Oline? How about all the times they actually gave Drew time to throw? Was it their fault that he threw the ball 4 feet behind a wide-open Crayton on a deep in? Was it their fault he waited a half second too long to pass to Glenn in the end zone, and compounded the mistake by grossly underthrowing the ball for an INT?
Wanna blame Bledsoe? Was it his fault Gurode didn't change the protection on the fumble for a TD? Was it his fault that Pettiti needs to get in the weight room, since it was obvious he was grossly overmatched, in terms of strength against Strahan? Is it his fault that early in the game he had NO time to throw the ball?
It could go on and on. Take heart people. We played our absolute worst game of the year, and lost on a crazy fumble return for a TD!! We've been riddled by injuries! Has any other team in the league, with similar injuries as the Cowboys, had as much success? The answer is no. The coaching staff has done a great job keeping us together, to be in contention in December. When's the last time you really felt this team had a chance this late in the year? This is an exciting team, with a great future. Get off their back a little bit. Most teams, when met with injuries and adversity like the Cowboys, crumble and fold. The Cowboys have done exactly the opposite, and this will pay off in the long run. So, cheer up, Cowboy nation, it ain't over yet!
