The way you worded that made me stop and think for a second. I had forgotten how spread out we all are on this board.

First let me chime in about the nice grill and wife you have. The quote above made me realize how great this forum is. Back in the early 90s I got most all my info from the sporting news once a week. Now, anytime day or night, I can come here and get virtually up to the minute updates. Lots of great knowledgable fans to keep each other informed. This is the only place I go for Cowboy info. Thanks to all (well except for maybe a couple posters) for a pleasurable experience.

Haha

I have that exact grill (the old one)! Bought it circa 1998/99. Have had two grills since 1991. One a present and I think the second cost me $119. And it works just fine to the day. I occasionaly repaint the metal and stain the wood.

But that new one looks the hoot. I may have to upgrade.

Gas is for wimps ;)

Nice grill DA

haha... I would normally feel the same way...

But try firing up a charcoal fire in 100+ degree weather and 75 plus on the humidity... practically takes a hurricane to get the fire started..

But I still do it...hehe

I use the gas one mostly when I cook for me and da wife...

Otherwise I go with charcoal/mesquite

My experience is the instant light charcoal leaves a bad taste on the food.

The grill works for me.

Once it burns away you can't taste it

My better half got me a new Weber too, couldn't find a blue one, so ended up with a green one.

I saw the green ones at home depot... wasn't really expecting them to have at the grocery store...just by luck that I saw the blue ones...
