I don't know if he's done anything to earn the start over Gallup at this pointIt's time. They should give him his shot.

LolGiving up the draft picks Jerry did he had to play him.
They certainly didn't have to play him the 2nd year and he was cut out of the league very quickly after that. You had no choice with RW. When you give a kings ransom for a player you can’t just let him walk. He was extended
Just the entire training camp.I don't know if he's done anything to earn the start over Gallup at this point
The problem is Tolbert hasn’t really done much himself. He hasn’t had a catch or a target the past two games. No assurances he’s going to be any better and could end being worse. Granted Gallup is struggling but he did have 6 catches for 92 yards against AZ and 5 for 60 yards against New England. He hasn’t been downright terrible.Last week is enough in my book.
Jerry wasn’t about to admit he was wrong after giving up at first and third Williams. It took an injury to get him out of the lineup and Miles Austin’s franchise record 250 yards kept him out of the lineup as a starter.
Gallup will bounce back. What has Tolbert done?
I could say give Turpin a chance because he makes explosive plays. I agree Tolbert should get more snaps for development, but I can't agree with handing him a position because Gallup is slumping.
He had a good training camp, but he's played 37% of snaps this season so its not like he hasn't been getting more playing time.Just the entire training camp.
With the money Gallup is making this downward trend he’s on is going to have to continue for a while longer before they bench him for Tolbert.
He has experience and they’re just hoping that eventually he’ll come around. Tolbert hasn’t done anything to make me think he’s a better option.I agree. They believe in Gallup and will try to see him through this "slump." It'll take a couple more absolute garbage games for a switch.
You're just pissed that you didn't think of it.I like people that think outside the box.
I couldn’t think of a better way to get the #17th ranked offense back on track than to feature Tolbert
Exactly. Jerry and Co. don't want to admit their error in judgement (again) and will force Gallup on the field regardless of results. With the money Gallup is making this downward trend he’s on is going to have to continue for a while longer before they bench him for Tolbert.
He hasn't had a chance. But we already have the data on Gallup. Not producing.I don't know if he's done anything to earn the start over Gallup at this point
