So I foresee a "stalemate" at the negotiating tables until after the draft.

I could see how Jerra would want that knowledge of a done deal when going after a blue-chip CB. Suddenly, if another team wanted an exhorbitant sum to move up in the draft, Jerra could more easily decline.

I do think a gentlemens agreement has been reached among the Boys, Titans and Pac-Man's camp.

Iffin this scenario is accurate Jerra could look more to a WR or RB. And that would not be too bad if Jerra uses No. 3 deal with a young CB.

So perhaps it is best to keep the Pac-Man deal on hold.

As long as we get that thug in here after the draft, it doesn't matter to me. Tank and him will bring major "street cred" to this team. Hopefully we get Ocho Cinco too !

I would want this trade situation resolved as soon as possible so that I could focus solely on the draft.

That said, I wouldn't overpay to get Jones and it makes sense to 'wait out' the Titans until they get reasonable with their demands.

But, other than the Titans' demands, I don't see any other reason to wait.
