During his NFL Combine interview, Auburn OT Marcus McNeill said he will have to improve on his technique and fundamentals. "Because when I go against a defensive end, nine of out 10 defensive ends are going to be more athletic than me. So I can't always depend on my athletic ability. I'm really going to have to work my fundamentals and technique, because that's the way you beat athletic ability." This is great!

During his NFL Combine interview, Auburn OT Marcus McNeill said his back has not been a real issue. "Everybody asks me about my back but when they find out I played two and a half years and haven't had any problems out of it, they really look away from it and worry about other things. ... I haven't had any problems with it in two years." I hope this is true

During his NFL Combine interview, Auburn OT Marcus McNeill said he expects to start during his rookie year. "I think if I didn't have those expectations for myself, I probably wouldn't even want to go to the next level. I definitely want to get on whatever team I get to and make a big impact real soon." McNeill said he can play both tackle positions. "I am always up for the challenges and I never back down from stuff like that," said McNeill. "If they put me on the left side, I think they can throw me into the fire pretty early and I will adapt pretty well."

A lot of guys don't think it's right to work out up here or they don't want to work out up here. ... I have no problem performing. I've never had a problem performing before. I just really want to get out there and show out."
