You have two timeouts. You've been running the ball really well. You throw 2 passes -- 1 incomplete and 1 for no gain -- then punt. WHY JASON WHY?!?

You can do this with any play caller that's ever been in the league.

And, for the love of God let this be the last time anybody needs to say it, the QB goes to the line with a pass/run option.

I'm sure every fan was having DejaVu on that series, but we were in the hurry-up, so did the calls come from sideline or Tony?

So what you are saying is that it was Romo's fault?

I don't care if it was Garrett or Romo, JUST RUN THE DAM BALL! We had them on their heels. Any novice watching the game could see that.

I was more upset by the 3 passes & punt we had coming out of halftime.

I'm saying we don't know. If there's even blame on anyone.

3rd and 2. Romo walks to the line and audibles out of a run into a pass. Incomplete. OMGZ GARRETZZ!! RUNN TEH BALL!1!!

That happens all the time.

I saw the same thing.

Another favorite of mine. 3rd and 9. 4 receivers out on routes. 3 of the 4 run past the sticks. Romo checks it down to the guy underneath short of the first down. Tackle made. No conversion.

WHY DUZZ GARRETZ THROW THE BALLZ 5 YARRDS ON 3RD AN 9?!!

It's good for a laugh.

Romo probably had option on both and passed.
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

Agree. Romo does need to make better decisions.
But Garrett isn't any good.

Didn't like that series either. 2nd and 1 is usually a gift, because you have so many options........

Throwing to a guy that is not past the 1st down market, that is a bit questionable - although nobody else looked open and at that stage of game Romo was rushed a lot.

Also, don't like plays that have Witten catching the ball flat footed well beyond the line of scrimmage, that just isn't putting guys in position to succeed - Dunbar maybe, not your slow to accelerate TE with no wiggle?

Teams have the formula for shutting our offense down. It is not a coincidence we are scoring around 18 pts a game on offense. And it's not a coincidence WRs are having some trouble getting open.

^^^this. Philadelphia should never seen the ball the last 2 mins of the first half. And Dallas should have a LEAST come out of halftime and gotten 2 first downs. Not sure how on earth Garrett can come out of halftime and not a have a plan to get a 1st down.

What's your point? You're happy with our inept offense? Whether Romo is audibling or Garrett is calling the plays, the buck stops with Garrett. We repeatedly fail to make the needed play on offense. It's up to Garrett to make sure the right play gets run.

I feel like Garrett is trying to develop our running identity, but he just can't quite help himself, like the pass is his safety blanket. He doesn't have the will to stick with the run, even when it's looking good. At that point, he basically abandoned the run for the rest of the game.

Whoever it is, the buck stops with Garrett. He is the head coach. Sometimes you just need to tell Romo to run the stupid ball--see 2nd and 1 Giants game.

Romo checked out of the run into a pass.

You could hear him kill it off at the line.

I'm sick of fans basing their judgements of play calling on whether it works or not. Guess what, bad plays work, and good plays fail.

Fans try to simplify the game far too much.

No, not every time.

Sometimes it's 2 pass plays called, sometimes 2 run plays, etc....

Sometimes it's just one play called. It's not ALWAYS 1 run/1pass every play call.

Garrett is just so predictable. You will always know when he is going to run or pass. The longer he remains the play caller, the more Romo becomes a pocket passer. Garrett just does not know how to use his personnel. I really do wish he would just give up the play calling cause its the main reason why we are awful on offense this year.

JG is the HC and the OC. If he really wanted to run the ball, he has the authority to do so. He could of gave Romo only a run play and told Romo to make sure we run the ball. Do you think if we need a hailmary pass to win, JG would give Romo a run play to check in to?

It complete BS trying to blame Romo for JG making a dumb mistake again.
