My wife and I found out today that the baby we're expecting in January is a girl. I don't know what to do with myself, i am beyond happy. Words just don't express it.

I had a boy first, which was great because I figured I at least knew something about boys having been one myself. When I found No. 2 was going to be a daughter i was stunned - I had never really imagined having a daughter and had no confidence I could handle it properly. 14 years later I can tell you it has been pure joy raising a daughter. The things that the posters say in the quotes below are completely true.
