That's what I'm sayin! Hamlin,a third and 5th for Cromartie!! He would be a beast at FS makin disgusting plays. Sean Jones at SS.

Three straight superbowls. lock it up.
Hamlin and a 5th would be plenty. Hamlin was a Prowbowler in 2007, we can use that for leverage.

More amazed with the stupidity around here lately. There were quite a few people in another thread that said they'd trade Cutler for Romo straight up. So it wasn't a stretch that someone would think the Cardinals would trade DRC.

Not to hijack a thread, but I must admit I don't understand the Cutler hype.

I'm more down on Romo right now than I've ever been before (I've been a huge supporter), but I would never even entertain the thought of trading for Cutler. What's the point?

Yeah, his arm is super strong. Whoopy. It should tell you a lot that a new "offensive genius" coach walks in and immediately wants to unload him.

Apparently, fans have become convinced the key to success is to load up on DBs.

That's been Al Davis' philosophy the last several years.....

Well, we sort of need a starter at S don't we?
Cromartie could be a starter at FS, Ed Reed type of move.

What's it going to be then, eh?

Chargers | Cromartie available?
Mon, 02 Mar 2009 16:51:42 -0800 Kevin Acee, of The San Diego Union-Tribune, reports a league source said the San Diego Chargers will put CB Antonio Cromartie on the trading block if they are able to sign free-agent CB Drayton Florence (Jaguars).

Why would they get rid of Cromartie in favor of Florence?

Why in the world would anyone think we'd try and trade Hamlin? Didn't we just give him a huge deal last year, with a lot of bonus, that we'd then have to eat cause we're trading him?

I wouldn't mind have AC but I can't see any trade idea, involving Hamlin, being even remotely realistic.

They can have Roy and Barbie for him. Roy is going to be out of here anyway and Barbie doesn't bring anything worthwhile to our table anyway.

That also would eliminate any of those ideas of trading a guy like Hamlin and eating that accelerated bonus for it.

Either way I just doubt that AC is on his way out of San Diego. Something about this whole thing just doesn't sit quite right with me.
