Yeah, it is.

People around here complain about how long it has taken but that’s largely because management didn’t start by stripping it down to the studs and doing a complete rebuild. Honestly, they aren’t getting enough credit for keeping this team competitive, year after year, while doing a complete rebuild of the o-line and the entire defence. Now it looks like they’ll keep the team competitive while doing a complete rebuild of the skill positions.

This could all have been done faster, the process could have been accelerated, by suffering a bunch of 3–13 seasons and collecting a bunch of high picks. I’m not sure that would have made those complaining about the length of the process any happier.

I saw change in management around the time rob ryan and kiffen were here. They started staying away from big free agents and dead money. They started drafting smart and developing players. They drafted in the trenches, and took some risks that look like they might work out.

The cowboys are starting to have depth, and they have smarter contracts with players.

Our defense is playing consistently well...and if the Jax game wasn’t a fluke, maybe the offense has taken a sustainable step forward.

That would help our process.

That one actually bothers me more than his "process" phase from him.

Just once after a loss when he stands at the podium, I'd love to hear him start with ... "Well .. that sucked!"
