He is still recovering from a major knee injury, which can hamper a QBs accuracy.

It was late in a game where he threw 46 passes, which can lead him to tire out in conjunction with previously stated injury and further hamper his accuracy.

And the main thing is accuracy is just not his strength. He is a good QB with several strong points, but accuracy is not one of them. He is not horrible, but he is only average. He had completed 58.2% of his passes from 1999-2006 where as the league average was 59.0% during that time.

Add all that together and it is no surprise that he missed Curtis on that pass.

I notice, joseephuss, that you are always sticking up for Mcpuke with all these injury reports, stats, and whatnot...but you never discuss him being the mental midget that he is! Why is that?

McPuke can have all the tangibles of the best QB in the world, but when you are a weak minded individule like he is...it's not going to help him one bit...as already evidenced many incidents the last few years...

Nope...injury this, stat that, he's a mental midget and Reid's lap dog...always has been and always will be as long as he's an eagle.

This is a recurring theme. McNabb doesnt want to talk to the media or reporters about certain things. Then he goes and does an interview on the side and makes a big deal out of it, and later when the media, reporters and fans ask him to discuss - he doesnt want to talk about it and runs away.

the national media did treat McFlabb with kid gloves. Now they are calling him on the carpet. I love it.

Chunky is way too thin-skinned to handle playing QB in Philthy. He's always been a runner that makes up for inaccuracy with mobility. Any fan who didn't see that was either a) a clueless homer, or b) blind. Now he can't run so his inability to hit open receivers is magnified, which has really brought out the whiner in him.

Hos, everything in that blog i heard reported on wip today, apparently there's a lot of validity to it. I really dont see the eagles being able to pull it together this season, they have some talented athletes but the team is not together and losing always makes a situation like this worse. I think its all going to come out in the next couple weeks, things that have been kept under wraps, looks like its an ugly situation.

That said, with the way the giants look and the fact that campbell has a lot to learn - it looks like an easy bet for the cowboys to win the East.

Yeah-pretty much the other 31 teams' MBs, his comments has also created a firestorm.

Now even Bears' fans don't want him.

Are you serious? I took it that the author was doing a play on words with regards to McNabb's contention of Black QBs face harsher scrutiny. I never would have figured this was real after the reports of his HBO segment.

He got his team to 4 straight NFC championship games. He is not as big a mental midget as is made out to be. I do think there is something lacking and that is what limited Philly to only 1 SB appearance and 0 wins. I do criticize McNabb even for the physical talents. Like when I said he is not accurate. He is a good QB a very good one. He is not great and I have said that many times.

Mental midgets don't do a damned thing in the NFL. Quincy Carter is a mental midget. McNabb is no Carter.

Mental giants achieve greatness in the NFL. Roger Staubach is a mental giant. McNabb is no Staubach.

Do you really believe McNabb is 100% healthy right now? I don't. Aikman looked like crap his last couple of years in the league. It wasn't because he was a mental midget. It was because he was not 100% healthy. His numerous injuries took their toll on his body especially his back.

They inteviewed someone on wip about the state of the eagles lockeroom and what is going on with the players, i think its G Cobb who was talking to the morning show guys, and he said there is a huge division between mcnabb and the rest of the team.

1) reid wont call McNabb out for bad play so he'll send an asisstant to do it, something to do with andy's not comfortable confronting mcnabb

2) McNabb gets special treatment, but the rest of the team gets hammered for mistakes, but McNabb is "teachers pet" so he doesnt - sounds like TO's comments about "company man"

3) McNabb goofs around a lot on the sidelines in practice and games and that irks some people, but again - andy doesnt address it himself - he sends someone else to do it.

4) The team rallied behind garcia because he was one of them

There were some other comments i cant remember, but they illustrated the fact even further that McNabb is seperate from the team.

Today Hugh Douglass said its going to be ugly this week and he predicts 0-3.

The consensus is that McNabb wont be in philly next year.

Who questioned whether this was a valid thread or not ?

These are the Eagles we are talking about here...the team with the most hating fans in the NFL....the team with hating fans who pick fights with visiting fans in their stadium...who boo their own players...and by the way, the fans who cheered when Michael Irvin was being carried off of the turf with an injury that obvioulsy was more than just a turf toe...

I am usually on the side of Mahatma Ghandi too but these are freakin the Philadelphia Fecals....(wasn't there a "bounty" game they were involved in ?)
Yah, the team whose fans are as arrogant as if they had won 5 Superbowls but actually have ZERO...

A classeless organization with classless fans....Poor Fecals...bring it on
