This cowboy is the best at this position. Whether it's RB, DE, LB whatever, I'm tired of hearing who is the best at one particular area. Enough of the lip service, play as a friggin team, and be the best at that. I know it's a players league, but I wanna see results from all these "best" players. It must be the offseason.... ugh

We definitely don't have a player who's the best at their respective position, but we do have players who are considered top tier/2nd tier players. Tyron Smith, Dez Bryant, Sean Lee, Dan Bailey, Dwayne Harris, Travis Fredereck, Tony Romo.

Our problem isn't with the talent at the top end, it's the middle - bottom guys.

This sounds more like a week 6 thread when they're 3-3 but I get your point.

The only player we've had in 15 years who might have been the best at his position was Ware. And he probably wasn't.

I've always had the opinion that it is better to have a team full of pretty good players than a team with a couple of super stars. Still is and always be a team game.

A couple of years ago you could have made the arguement for Ware. Witten, as the best ALL AROUND TE.

But sadly we have not had that level of talent much in the last 15 or so.

Once upon a time you could have pointed to 3-5 guys on the team and made a good arguement. Sometimes more. Mid 60's to mid 80's.

And for a few years in the 90's. The Triplets. But now?
