...making it or not has nothing to do with how good the player is and making the Pro Bowl only drives the $$ price up come the next contract negotiation time. (I bet privately Jerry would agree with that line of thinking.) 
Just another view, although I also want to see our deserving guys make it.
But just wait. If we keep winning, all those post-season honors will start to come our way even if it's next season. They are inevitable if you win.
