The question was asked in the Scouting the Lions thread. That" when the Cowboys beat the Lions, will any of the Lions fans return to eat their crow?

Well wconn and crew, will you show up on Lionbacker.com for your serving of crow?

Somehow, I think probably not.

Also, nice move by your mods to close the scouting the Lions thread. LOL.

The Cowboys beat the Lions.... but the Cowboys couldn't beat Tony Romo! :D

Romo had one of his turnover games he has every year.

He doesn't do that every game. If he didn't do it last night, the score would have probably ended up 40-3.

Pray the Cowboys don't make the playoffs, because if the Lions are there... They will get trounced. Actually, they probably will get trounced by anyone in the playoffs. Your team isn't as good as you think they are. You just have a soft schedule.

Apparently, ours isn't either.

The Packers are the class of the NFC. The thing working in the Lions favor is that they play the Packers twice a year and are used to the team.

That may bode them well if they get into the playoffs. Of course, I picked the Lions to make the playoffs before the season began.

I'm not going to miminize the Lions' win. They beat us fair and square. Their quarterback didn't make turnovers down the stretch. Ours did.

Great win for you guys. Something you can really build on going forward. To the victor go the spoils and all that happy horse****, I happen to agree with.

And a win is a win is a win and you guys won.

Now with all that said, I'd like to know what you were thinking 5-7 mins into Q3 down 27-3?

Shocked at how good the Cowboys played your Lions?

As good as you must feel over the win, I have to think you believe a little devine intervention perhaps played a role and do not relish the thought of playing this Cowboy team in the playoffs.

We gave that game away. All that matters is the scoreboard, blah, blah, blah, but we gave another one away. It doesn't even matter who's on the other side of the field, we keep doing this.

Congratulations to the Lions. They did what they had to do to win. We didn't, it's as simple as that.

I hope we get a chance to see the Lions again. That would mean that we are in the playoffs and meet them.

Good win for Detroit and their fans.

Packers need to do something with their defense. That is going to be a problem come playoff time.

Me too. I feel very confident we could beat the Lions if we don't play dumb football.

I'd love to play them again.

Congrats on your gift wrapped victory

who cares? so you had some mouthy fans go wheee on a game built around emotions.

try having some class and winning with pride to better rep your own fanbase.

then again, this "winning" is still pretty new to detroit.

This Lion fan actually thinks his club is THAT good. Hey good win, but don't come here chest bumping like you took the game away. You won it, but please don't forget our QB was scoring TD's for your team, which was unable to do btw before he started doing it for you.

Cides..I never would go to a Lions board for anything, let alone brag or whatnot.

I don't get going to other teams boards to register and poke around for nothing.

You wont be back.

Good to see Detroit doing something.

Merry Christmas. Had our QB not hand delivered you a victory, would you have come back?

Somehow, I think probably not.

Tell yourself whatever you need to.

Fact is, Detroit is notoriously a bad road team. We have played 3 of our first 4 games on the road. Including last week in Minneapolis.
It's not surprising to me at all that we fell behind like that. Now, if we were at home and fell behind like that, Then I would be worried.

And if we do meet in the playoffs, Dallas will be coming to our house.
Ford Field gets far louder that the house that Jerry built could ever think of getting.

Don't you have better things to do like go high five your "buddies" on how awesome you 4-0 team is? World beaters I'll tell you.

ps You might want to go price some parachutes....just sayin'.

Like us, the Packers could easily be 1-3 or 2-2.

I have watched all their games. New Orleans came real close despite three key players out with injury, and Carolina even closer. Two called back TD's cost Carolina the game....and they still had a chance to tie it at the end.

The Packers have been getting turnovers and turning them into points. They don't get the turnovers....they are 1-3 right now. But yeah....their defense will struggle against strong passing teams, and put some pressure on Rodgers and watch their offense struggle as well.

Well, truthfully, and I can prove it. I was thinking I was absolutely spot on in my preseason prediction. I expected a loss to Dallas.
Now to prove it. 1st post at the top of page. Just scroll to the bottom of my post and look in the bottom left hand corner of my post to see the date and time I posted it.

It's coming and when the truth hits you. It's going to hurt.
