nothing worked in that Washington game. it was one of those days.

HIcks hurt us (literally) twice last year. Bradham is having a good year.

Hicks has been inconsistent all year.

And let's note, that they ran a 3-4 last year and are now running a wide nine version of a 4-3 defense.

**** those turds and their fans.

They are on the radio talking about how good Carson looked yesterday and playing audio clips of line calls he made.

I hope they get pounded into the dirt Sunday night.
I watched the whole game, and came away with the exact same criticisms we have of Dak. He made some great throws, and he horribly missed on some others. We are arguably better than the Eagles everywhere except on the D-line.
QB-push
RB-Dallas
WRs and TEs-Dallas
O-Line -Dallas
Secondary- Dallas
Special Teams-Dallas
LBs-Push
D-Line- Eagles

Eagles secondary is probably the worst one we will face all season.

Sunday Night will be a party. We're going to smash those guys.

I hope so, don't want a repeat of the 2014 Thanksgiving day game against the Eagles. I know our schedule and short week played into that. No excuses this time around.

We're going to lose again at some point. It's going to happen just like it did in 2014 and just like 2014 it really doesn't matter in the big scheme of things.

But this week wont be the week.. Philly is about to learn what a physical running game looks like.

I really wish this was a morning game. I hate waiting for night games.

Why? Right after the game you will go right to bed and get a nice relaxing sleep, knowing we just crushed those birds to a pulp. In the morning we will be talked about as Super Bowl contenders.

Philly's defense is for real. They have a very active, athletic DL that can disrupt the running game and collapse the pocket. Jenkins is a playmaker at S. They force a lot of turnovers and get some spectacular play from their STs.

I still think that we are getting healthy at the right time, and coming off the bye and playing at home will be in our favor-- but I wouldn't be surprised at all if the Philly defense puts up a very spirited fight.

If we can move the ball and start wearing them down-- the game shifts dramatically in our favor. We need to win the TOP battle and lean on that smaller front. Wentz is a wildcard. He's looked pretty bad the last few weeks-- but over the years, I'm used to seeing this D make average QBs look like All-Pros. Hopefully we can continue our successful play on D.
The Vikings tackles both got manhandled. That and they can't run. I imagine this game will go a little more like the Washington/Philly game. Power O.

I don't like the wait. I get too stressed out. Also, I may not stay up late, but I also don't go to bed at 830.

The only things about this game which concern me are Sproles being covered by Hichens/Durant, and the Eagles return game. If we control Sproles and the kick return, I think this could be a route.

Well as someone who isn't going to the game, I really don't care how good the tailgating is. I still would rather have the game sooner. lol
That's totally understandable. I like the 3:25 games the best when I watch on TV. I'm guessing the games for you are 10am, 1pm, or 5:30?

One fear I have........... Free has to play well. Brandon Graham has been a terror against other RTs in the league. Free needs to be on his game.

Eagles S are good. CBs blow. And Special Teams is a push. Their FG is good, and they have very good return guys.

Going to night games is the best. Start tailgating around 2pm, enjoy the PERFECT Texas October weather, talk **** to eagles fans. The home crowd will be the best it's been all year, and ROWDY. I expect to see at least one fight out in the parking lot. I'm still debating on whether I am wearing a costume, or not.

There will be plenty of Eagle Skeletons after the game....be sure to not give them a proper burial...get kick them out of the way...as you smile chugging down that next ice cold beer (or beverage of your choosing). :D

But this week wont be the week.. Philly is about to learn what a physical running game looks like.

And after that debacle in 2014. And I even posted about it. As everyone had us losing out and the Eagles winning out. They thought it was all over.
I said we were capable of winning the next 3 games, and that the Eagles could very easily lose 2 of the next 3. But losing 3 might happen.
And that is what happened. Then we trounce the Colts and claim the division.

So anything is still possible win or lose. However, this 2016 team has a different look and feel from that 2014 team. So if we take care of business this Sunday night against the Eagles, we will be in the drivers seat with the pedal floored going forward. A loss at some point, yes very likely. But if we open a 2 game lead and then lose a game, but the rest of the NFCE will have more losses also.

Not saying if we win the division is ours, but we will control it and our own destiny for this year from that point on.

If our secondary can keep tackling like it has, it'll go a long way into stopping the Eagles. Seems like majority of Wentz's passes are screens and passes to the flat that go for huge YAC gains. I think we held Sproles to minimal gains last year. When Wentz goes to the intermediate throws, he's been struggling more lately due to the pressure coming from the right.

In games we have won, Church has played very well, especially tackling.
