It's funny (not so much) how the fans saw this...

You know how with a "Normal" coach you'll see him talking about things and us - the fans - will be like, "What's he talking about? We're winning and playing good" or whatever? But then a couple of weeks go by and you start seeing those things the coach was talking about cuz they start to get worse and worse.


Isn't it messed up how us - the fans - saw this coming even when we were 3-0, yet the coach (by definition only IMO) and players, all they could talk about was how they were undefeated and that the fans expectations/standards were too high, etc...?


There's a major problem when the fans (Not all of us, some of you were chugging down that Wade Phillips koolaid) can see problems on the team that the players and coaches can't.

You could see it in preseason. How many times did i read about how preseason ment nothing over and over again. I thought it was funny how Wade said last seasons team is not this years team. I dunno, looks like alot of the same players to me.

The same things we were complaining about in preseason are still there now (ex. Special teams).

This is the true test of objectivity, sticking to your beliefs/observations even in the face of scrutiny/ridicule...Good lesson for life, speak your mind and not sip from the kool aid...There were several in the zone, that were in the 'know' early on

This is true. I remember with Parcells in 03 when we were 5-1, I was excited and thought we had the best team in the nfl. But every week parcells kept talking about the problems we had. Then eventually, bam!

This happens a lot with my favorite NBA team with the Spurs. Coach popovich is constantly criticizing. Even after a playoff series win.

Coach Wade reminds me a lot of Coach D'antoni , ex-suns coach, now knicks coach. For those of you who don't follow basketball, D'antoni is the kind of guy who constantly states how they SHOULD'VE won, they are more talented than the team they lost to, their record is the best, etc.

You mean like the fact that Brad Johnson can't play worth a darn. I saw that in preseason, but yet, he's still on the roster today.
