I am so pumped up to watch this game. I'm home in upstate NY but my heart and soul are in D-Town today. We got 6" of snow last night and another 6" - 10" coming today with 30 - 40 mph winds and the temp at 15 degrees. So I'll be in the house, with my favorite beverage in my favorite chair in front of the roaring fire cheering on my Cowboys. I'll be screaming at the tv like the players can hear me and acting like the complete psycho that I am during games. But, that's what a fan does. To everyone .... enjoy the game and lets all root for a big Cowboy win.

I'm in SE texas but I have relatives in the Jamestown, NY, area where my dad was raised. Sounds like you're in a similar area.

Yes ... I am in Rochester (between Buffalo & Syracuse). It's called lake effect snow and we are on the southern shore of Lake Ontario and it just comes off the lake and it sucks. But it will be a warm & toasty day as long as the Cowboys WIN!!!!!!! Wish I was there, but my tv is as close as I get today. I went to the Giants game in Dallas this year and also went to Austin and saw Texas beat Texas Tech. Great city ... had a ball! I am a Texan in spirit, but an Upstate New Yorker in reality! Enjoy the game fellas.

Born and raised in Rochester (Greece) Although that type of weather made me move, I miss it during the NFL season. Nothing better than a roaring fire
and some good Italian food during a game like this.
Enjoy!

I went to college at the University at Buffalo. Definitely don't miss those snow storms.

It's cold here in NYC. But no snow.

Going to get lunch with a few friends, and then come home to watch the Cowboys clinch the East.

Let's get it on !!!

Actually we live in Greece (off of Mill Road). Both of my kids went to Athena. Will be enjoying the roaring fire & the Italian Food (actually my wife is making Sausage & Tortellini Soup and we've got some good hard crust Italian Bread). The food was my request as you can sit in the family room with a bowl of soup & not miss any of the game on the big screen tv. I'm not smart enough to move, but as you know the summers are pretty good around here and we really don't get any of the hurricanes, tornados, earthquakes etc. It's just the LONG winters that can make you goofy by the time spring rolls around.

I love your wife. You can't even buy the ingredients around here to make that.

Real Italian bread? Not even an option.
I'll be making Garbage plates today. Had a friend from Rochester visit last week. I have one rule, you don't visit me with out two large coolers full of Zweigles red and whites. I have another friend who used to work at Tahoe's (years ago) so I have the hot sauce recipe.

I'll feel it in the morning but that's the best dinner I can make for a game like this one today. Enjoy.

My best friend lives on Manitou RD by the way. Been friends for forty years.

I'm in construction, hurricanes ain't all bad.:D

That's exactly the weather I'm enjoying right now too.

Just filled the wood box and need to go out and plow after I finish my coffee. Maybe time to take the dogs for a walk in the woods then it's the favorite chair, the roaring fire and the psycho screaming.

I went to high school in Syracuse (Baldwinsville) then moved to Jamestown so I hear ya, but if it makes you feel any better, I live in Orlando now and it was 29 degrees last night and it's gonna stay like this for the next week.

Please win today.

Garbage Plates!!!! Love 'em, but the cholesterol is getting up there, so it's like 1 or 2 a year. Actually, the owner of Tahoes (Stevie T) died of a heart ataack this year (must have been eating a lot of his own plates), but the family is still running the place. We live right around the corner from Manitou Road - my wife actually grew up off Manitou Beach Road (near the parkway). I'm actually in the construction industry ... I own a masonry supply business and deal with all the general contractors and architects in the area. Nothing is better than Zweigle pop open reds & whites. A lot of people on this site probably don't even know what we are talking about with zweigles and garbage plates. If you could pm me the recipe for the tahoe's sauce, I would deeply appreciate it. I'm always trying to make hot sauce and can't ever quite get it right. Thanks and enjoy the Cowboys victory!!!!!
