Based off the reaction of this board there are 16 teams who will totally suck this year and are in for a loooong season. I think we only get better from this point and look forward to being 1-1 next week!

I agree. Giants struggled to beat a rookie QB in his first start. Eagles beat the Browns and Commanders most likely losses to Steelers.

Everybody in the division will lose 1 game so we have a long way to go. Have to beat the skins. Don't need to start 0-2 in the division

We lost by 1 point to a good team. Idk why everyone is freaking out. It's the first game. Give the offense a little more time to gel and hopefully the defense will be better come week 5. Remember how bad we looked in the opener against the 49ers in 2014. It's not the end of the world......or the season for that matter

What makes being a fan fun is the possibility of winning each and every week. For some of you I can't see how you even like the team because after 1 loss it's over and we have no chance from week to week so what's there to watch? For the hope you are right about our mediocrity so you can boast you said it first? I'm glad I am not like that and look forward to the possibilities of winning and getting better.

We were 2-0 last year with Romo and todays loss makes us 1-12 without him since last season. The Commanders won the division last season and have an ascending veteran QB which helped them rebound from 1-2 last season. With a rookie QB our chances of rebounding from an 0-2 start especially within the division after the first 2 weeks is slim and none. Division losses can come back to haunt you especially in a tight division race.

No one may run away with the division, no one did last season but we're going to have a tough time staying in the race if we're in the cellar after the first couple of weeks being 0-2 within the division. We don't have a team that's built to come back from a bad start having a rookie QB and a defense that continues not being able to make critical stops. We continue to make stupid mistakes that help cost us games. This is not a well coached, disciplined football team.

We've done what we do almost every week every year. Today wasn't anything new. We have the same problems even in the few years we actually win games. People are usually too giddy to take any complaining when we're winning (see 2014), but the problems have always been there. It's the offense and defense and coaching staff and management. We need a lot of work to ever win another Super Bowl. We're approaching a quarter century of mediocrity.

I look at this team and this defense and can't honestly see them doing anything. Sadly I think our drought is just going to get larger. This team and current regime is just glorified mediocrity, same S new year and adding.


And what pisses me off is jones and co just sell the same mediocrity every year and tell us we are contenders. And what's even worse I believe it. I always say I enjoy the offseason more, so much hope and excitement. Then when we start playing the games reality sinks in. Same mediocre team.

0-2 with both losses in the division is a major hole to crawl out of and with a rookie QB and a rookie RB, that hole might be too deep.

That is why everybody is concerned right now.
