as much as the coaching staff.

I don't care as much about the HC as I do the OC, DC and STC.

That's why I've been opposed to a college guy, he's not networked through the NFL. I want a guy that's been on the field as a NFL HC and has game planned against others.

I also hope they clean house and let this HC select his own staff.

I think Parcells made a mistake when he kept Zimmer, a 4/3 guy, and tried to teach him the 3/4. His learning curve held the team back. They were retooling for the 3/4 with a DC learning it himself.

The other hanging chad is what type of D does the HC prefer? This team is not set up to transition to the 3/4, they need to stay with the 4/3. And that may be a requirement of the HC's they interview.

It's ALL about the head coach. A good staff is great with a great HC, a bad Staff is very good with a great HC. A great staff sucks with a bad HC. It's all about getting a great HC.
