BREAKING NEWS It's official: Cowboys vs Eagles in NFL Opener

If he still has lingering effects from his injury after 10 months we’re in trouble. He’ll likey not hold up the entire season.
Nobody wants to take Prescott word for it he says he could have started game right now he feels that good people think he's lying why does he need to lie since we only have 4 months before he needs to play why does a man need to play around with fans and medias heads by saying he could play a game tomorrow that he feels that good and people don't believe him no if it was an actual game this week and he said that maybe we would have to wonder if he's just playing with the opponents coming up but I believe he's ready to play but regardless he's still a 9 year veteran coming off an injury and they should take it easy with him..

They should do whatever they did after 2020 season ending injury which was much worse whatever they did leading up to the 2021 season worked he literally threw 37 touchdowns and only ten interceptions it was arguably one of his best seasons,,

do that..,

Well then that's irrelevant to talk about it AT all,

everybody in here is full of rhetoric, hyperbole, and opinion maybe that's a redundant use of words ,but why wouldn't you try to protect your $60 million player coming off an injury?

easy answer, whatever they did in 2021 Off season, go back and look same thing happened , 2020 with a worse injury had his ankle snapped off people didn't think he'd start to season let alone have a great year and he had one of his best years ever... so they should follow whatever they did then.

They're not coddling him because he's a veteran coming off an injury they would do it anyway most veteran quarterbacks are protected...

So, someone go do the research and see how they treated the 2021 offseason..
You go do it, why make others do your dirty work?

This sub-topic is being stretched unnecessarily. The question was posed whether it was reported Dak Prescott would be handled carefully in training camp. A link was provided as confirmation of what was being alluded to...

Confirmation or smoke ?? don't believe everything you read,

they could be just playing devil's advocate, they want the Eagles to think they're handling in with care they want to league to think he's not ready..
but again I'm going to say this they would be smart to handle him with kid gloves to make sure they ease him in and have him truly ready for game one he's a 9 year vet he doesn't need as many reps as people want to believe he does like I said he himself has already been through this and he came back and played great...

I'm sure he has a say in how little or how much work he does how he feels i'm pretty sure regardless of how strong this coaching staff is that if Prescott wants to practice more or even if he wants to get in a preseason game he will do so..

And it could very well be a smokescreen I didn't add that in there but I don't want to go over 200 words and trigger anyone in here so I'll add to this a whole lot of this offseason it looks like BS likes to shoot the BS LOL a lot of the what happened in the draft was nowhere near in line with what they were saying they were going to do so maybe we finally have a coaching staff that's playing the opponents so they could say a lot of things that just could be throwing the opponents off making the fans off balance not know what to expect...

Either way it's not really a big deal I mean I don't know why a big deal is being made out of it but I just wanted to throw that out there I mean so far that's what I'm seeing and maybe we finally have everyone on the same page to make sure that they're not tipping their hand all the time..

I... do not believe you read the article attached to the posted link. Or are you claiming Todd Archer embellished or outright misquoted Stephen Jones' comments on the matter?
That is what I mean! Steven Jones is the one that said it, not some reporter talking crap. But, it seems anytime something sort of negative comes out about Dak, well, here it comes.

I hope Jerry Jones his goofus son are there and get a good long, hard look at the pre-game ceremony where they raise their Super Bowl banner and maybe bring the Lombardi trophy out. And I hope that one Eagles fan from last year can get within earshot again to yell to him about what a "great job" he's doing.

It’s going to be a Thursday night game which means we’ll have 10 days to stew over it if things don’t go well.

You think they care? They don't care about some stupid SB.
