If the offense hadn't given two series away with interceptions (one in the end zone) the defense would have done enough.
That is true but the team was ahead by 14 points in the 4th quarter and the defense couldn't make a stop.

Ok. They aren't where they want to be. They should have beat Green Bay but they didn't. 90sCowboys lost to bad teams too. Not saying this team is 90s caliber bye any means. Rodgers and the team was pumped up. Got a few bad call breaks that went their way and played good too and beat Dallas. Pick up and move on and focus on beating Minny.

PS. Philly got beat bye the Commanders. They didn't really look good at all and got beat. It happens.
upsets happen, but what it exposed is the weakness of this defense, which now gives every team a blue print. we can not stop the run. perhaps against chicago, people said, well its chicago. but given its a streak of 4 games, its a huge weakness and last two games it really got exposed

This same thread is posted on the internet in one form or another every year since the late 90s.

Some games give you a very clear picture that you are not a serious contender, and that your institutional problems keeping you from that goal still exist in a big way.

And after Minny will have beaten us it is still only one loss.
And so on and on and on ....

I do understand your positiv way. But our QB#1 is 1-2 this season. And all our 3 losses came against the so called "good teams". Staying positiv is ok. But you also have to face some facts.

It's not the loss that hurts, it's HOW they lost to the Packers that that hurts!

Choking a 14-point lead and allowing over 200 yards on the ground once again is the problem

Oh yea and the fact that Aaron Rodgers owns this team
Just as much as Jerry Jones does
yes, the glaring issue is the defense. Also, the offense inability to sustain drives. Too many 3 and outs in a game where we needed to establish the run.

Sad part is, we did but not when it counted. AR screwed us again with being superman. It is uncanny how that works.

It was 4th quarter, every 2nd and long gained 7-9 yards to set up 3rd and short and they convert. Our O kept getting in 3rd and longs and unable to convert. Or did and some crazy call in a non related area of the play negates it.

So frustrating!

All that said, it was a helluva entertaining game full of smachmouth football, turnovers galore, and OT. While I hate we lost, it was fun to watch!!

Go Cowboys!!
