Just had my first good laugh of the day, appreciate it. But even in your fantasy land scenario, this team goes 16-1..they will lose their first playoff game anyway. With all joking aside, just like last season when arizona in week 3 exposed this defense, and buffalo, and SF and GB, once their is tape out on you, it's over. So last year despite the boys being 12-5 winning the division and hosting a playoff game, their defensive flaws were exposed, and just like last year and all the years before it, this franchise doesn't adjust, not the owner(gm), his family, the coaches, the players. My take away was at least this year there will be righrfully so ZERO expectations on them nor should there be, so as a fan there won't be the usual letdown

The Cowboys have been good for one or two stinkers every season for the better part of two decades. Even when they have been a good team they have managed to not show up two or three times. I can't explain it but it happens and if I am going to remain a fan of this team I have to accept it. Like the OP said.. it's one game.. and it may have been just what the doctor ordered to get their attention. You could tell from their execution yesterday that they didn't hear a damn thing the coaches told them all week after the way they dismantled Cleveland. If this gets their heads on straight for the next 4-5 weeks then it will have been worth this loss.. But we all know that after the run off 5-6 straight wins they will start feelin themselves again and get slapped down again. The key is to get slapped down close enough to the end of the season for them to go into the playoffs mad.
