In some really ODD way I think he looks better like this

...which is Sad I know :

I though the same thing.... then I thought he looks like Jerry Garcia from the Grateful Dead.... which in effect was a receding hairline from old age... but for McQ it looks better? not sure why either.... but maybe like Sampson they thought they better leave some for his power? :
