As I bloviated last week, this team is headed down a long spiral. One more loss this week to the Falcons and they will begin to pack it in mentally for the season. As I've said before, this team needs to be blown up and started over with a strong coach who has total control.

Now...the only way Jerry will give up some of his total control is for us "fans" to desert this team in a big way. We have to stop buying the merchandise, going to games, and supporting the status quo. The only thing Jerry loves more than himself is money and he understands money and when the money leaves he might just get it. Remember, he still has a stadium to pay for. When is stands are empty on Sunday and the shops are full of merchandise not selling...he might:just might get it that his time has come and gone. He needs a real football general manager but he doesn't know it yet. We "fans" have to do something to shake up his world.

That's the way I see it...now let me have it homers...!!!!

They are going to go on to beat undefeated Atlanta soundly and then lose by 40 in Philly the next week. It wouldn't be a Cowboys kind of heartbreak to do anything otherwise.

We will find out soon enough if the losers mentality has changed on this team. That is a tough loss right there and tough to come back from.

Some guys need to step up and lead this team forward. I believe in Garrett process theme but the players have to hold it together. I think the mentality has changed on the team from what we saw with Wade but other details are not being taken care of.

It's already happening.

Do you ever hear about the Cowboys, other than an afterthought, among the national media? Do you ever see them or their insignia on commercials? Did you notice the drop in viewership in the DFW area last week? Are you listening to the boos?

Having said that - I also believe that Jerry thinks he is re-building with Garrett at the heart of that re-build. I think in his mind, he has the best assistant / positional coaches in the NFL. I think in his mind, Garrett will prove out to be a great coach. I think in his mind, the Defense is pretty close to fixed with some tweaking needed. I think in his mind, he will focus on the Offense next year during the off-season as he did with the Defense last off-season.
