It's really unfortunate that we are in the NFC

The misunderstanding is that you think they could do a better job if they would just put more work into it. If they would take it more serious.

But that is the mistake in your thinking: They are not able to. Because they lack the intellect, knowledge and talent. This last 27 years is what you get from them. This is the maximum.
Yes, nothing personal, but these guys don't have the ability or skillset to compete with these whiz kid GMs.
We are playing checkers.
They're playing chess.
We are never winning the Lombardi with these guys.
Shoot, we can't even make the NFCCG

Man!
The future is looking bleak...
Yes it seems the dak is fully capable of giving us a successful regular season and getting us to the playoffs but he's going to need some more help to take us further.
I think it pretty much comes down to we need to be active in free agency pretty much like the other teams that are playing today.
Eagles signed defensive line help with Suh and Linville Joseph 49ers signed Christian McCaffrey.

Great minds think alike....I don't doubt for one second that Booger thinks that Corky should remain HC as "long as Landry".....unfortunately, Booger's "River Boat Gambler" days are way back in his rear view mirror. He needs to realize that until either Howie Roseman or Jalen Hurts is gone, we will be playing three (3) road games to reach a Super Bowl....and that ain't happening with Dak!!!
I don't think Jerry is running the show anymore. I don't think Jerry just decided to stop trying in the offseason. But either way, we're stuck with this overly simple and cautious approach to the off season since around 2014. But who knows, maybe they'll surprise us. I just won't be holding my breath.

There's reason enough to be depressed over the Eagles management compared to ours, but don't assume the Eagles are going to be able to maintain that offense. Everything has to be ideal. The Ravens only managed it for 1 season, 2019. But for now, just pray that the 49ers beat them.

This should be obvious for everyone to see. I have to believe the owners see it as well. But they keep trotting the same team out there plus rookies. The most frustrating part, they do nothing to build on the previous year's success. Just add a few rookies and fill holes with FAs. Your expectations cannot be high if that's all you're willing to do every year. I could see if Dallas just barely lost a championship game. But it's clear that Dallas isn't among the elite teams.

I am with you. There are fans who think we are very close. WE ARE NOT. The gap between the divisional round and the title game is wide! How wide? 27 years WIDE!!!!!!!!

A Brock Purdy does not just happen. A culture, a roster, a front office and coaching staff that is on the same page...a philosophy on how we are going to play based on the talent available to us....all these things are in place....and because of that....you can drop a Brock Purdy in and keep the train moving.

We are an entertainment company first. Let's stay relevant. Let's draft the next #88. Let's draft the next #94. Let's keep them around as long as possible because the jersey number represents brand recognition. I am not making this point to take a shot at Cee Dee or Randy Gregory...the point I am making is, once you are anointed...you are part of the marketing strategy...and you will be featured....regardless of you ability or not. Our ability to sell you is bigger than your ability to perform.

Dak and Zeke represent stars. Dak is featured (throwing it around the yard 40+ times a game) because he is a star and paid as such. Zeke was featured (hobbling around on 1 leg and a shell of himself) because he is a star and paid as such.

You can't market defense...so suring up the safety position and DT position would be a waste of resources, because how are we going to be able to sell that?

Jerry Jones literally said...after Zach Martin had made a couple of ALL Pros....and I am paraphrasing....but he still salivates at how drafting Johnny Manzel would have kept them relevant for years!!!

I mean, you can't make this stuff up. He is telling you exactly how he thinks....but yet many still don't believe him. You can't get your return on investment from a marketing standpoint drafting and paying big bucks to an interior OL. This is how he thinks!!!!

Can't argue this. Their drafts support your assessment.

you and every body else think about the same way, if every body can be reminded Al Davis got into this frame of mind and jerry is no different. He thinks in his mind no body has the right to tell him he's messed up that's why he hires these yes men head coaches are one's that are washed up like hamburger mike. Remember when he said he had taken time off to reflect to become a better coach. He's a fraud, if it wasn't for rogers as his qb he would be reflecting some where in a daze, and his clock management is GREAT ISN'T IT wonder if he's reflecting on it right now

Nothing will change Jerry. Heck, he doesn't even own up to an illegitimate child. His buddy Rich, shooting upskirt picks of his "daughter", sneaking picks in the cheerleader locker room. The party bus. Yeah. losing will hurt him.
He borrowed money from Hoffa to start his shakey pizza business. Then tried to borrow money from Hoffa to buy the Chargers.
Then he tried to become a member of the hair club for men and got rejected and is now stuck with his bad rug.
Yeah, Jerry is honorable and a family man.

Frustrating we go in every year and as fans we know we are two or three players away from competing with the elite teams in the NFC to be able to get to a championship.

Then we watch as those elite teams are active in free agency and go above and beyond to get their teams over the top and stockpile talent in case of injury while we sit on our hands count our money and hope nothing bad is going to happen.

The really sad thing is the handful of players go the extra mile to keep us competitive like Micah Parsons and Cooper Rush and literally save our season and give us an opportunity that the front office continually squanders.

It is absolutely criminal to watch Jerry Jones torture our fan base and let the eagles for the second time in a decade blast by us and go to a super bowl which is exactly what I believe is going to happen.

Yep. But don't despair about the Eagles. All the 49ers have to do is stop their run without selling out. Jalen is not good enough to make up for that with his arm. He needs the run threat.

If we were in the AFC, the Dak decision would REALLY be more immediate than it currently is. As I said a few days ago, there isn't a sports team I hate more on planet Earth than the Eagles...but since they already ruined my 2018 by winning a Super Bowl, maybe it would be good for us if they won one more with Hurts looking like a early HOF candidate. Something needs to light a fire under Booger and Chuckle's butt, and make them realize just how asleep at the wheel this organization is...I am tired of all these Super Bowl winners, and soon to AGAIN be Super Bowls winners rebuilding on the fly, while we ponder how we can maybe add a couple of bargain bin FA's or make changes in such a way to "Not disrupt Dak"....oh, didn't mean to forget about resigning Zeke and LVE to manageable deals.:facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:
You’re kidding yourself if you think there would be an immediate decision on Dak based on the conference we play in. Sorry, but that’s ridiculous! Lol There won’t be any decision made on Dak until the Cowboys find a better option at QB. Jerry isn’t about to leave his team without a viable QB. As much as some of you want the Cowboys to end up like Washington and the other teams going through QB hell Jerry isn’t going to do that. Sorry if this disappoints you.

Yep, we are at a disadvantage sitting out free agency.
Quality free agents I mean.
Not dumpster diving.

The Cowboys play in a division with a team that has the best record in the NFL and whose QB is an MVP candidate. Philly lost two games all season and one of those losses was to the Cowboys led by Dak. I’ve been saying since the season ended we can’t move on from Dak until we find a better QB. Granted he’s got some issues in his game and we’ve all lost some confidence in him but he has led us to 24 wins the past two seasons with back to back playoff appearances for the first time since the 06 and 07 season. He just led us to our first road playoff win in 30 years and he did it against Tom Brady who we were 0-7 against. Despite the inconsistencies in his game he’s still 25 games over 500 as a starting QB. Go compare that to some of the castoffs fans are pushing for to take his place. Some fans on this board would prefer a QB with a losing record who’ve never won a playoff game. I get it, Dak keeps coming up short in the playoffs, but we could do worse. At least he gives us a chance.

For all you fans that keep chanting for a new QB, who can we get that’s been better and has won more games than Dak? You can’t just make a change at QB to make a change to see what happens. You have to have a better option. Some fans here seem to think any QB would be better than Dak. That’s ridiculous!
