Let's exclude Jerry Jones leaving because that's not happening. But I'm going to bet if we can Jason Garrett and "his" staff and get a competent coach and coaching staff, the offense AND defense will make a night-to-day transformation. I refuse to believe that ALL our starters are overrated. I've just heard too many Cowboys players, ex-players (both Cowboys and non-Cowboys) and coaches say the Cowboys run a vanilla scheme on both offense and defense.

What say ye?

I think it is pretty obvious that the talent is there or we would never be able to explain the Rams game.

Speaking of scheme. Where was the beautiful backfield design and execution we saw last week vs Rams? We featured Austin/Pollard with a lot of jet type of backfield motion. Today was the same type of scared/submissive type offense that we saw at N.O..

Partially wrong. For the offense, It’s the QB. Not the scheme. I’ve seen so many wide open receivers, but Dak’s timing and accuracy is shot.

For the defense, it’s the scheme. Defense has been bad for years. They have “good” players on the defense, but don’t use them correctly. We do need a new DT and safety though.

Darn right, just look at the Snap counts.. Witten 49, Jarwin 19.

that could be true...if Jerry lets it happen and let it run to the end...Jerry will bring someone. he will let them run things for a couple of years and his meddling starts again....there is no way, no way no way we get a coach next year, new scheme, etc. no coach has ever made a run in his first year taking over a team. specially no college coach, with his own staff...
