It's time for the spotlight to shine elsewhere. Get it off of Romo.

Romo only showed yet again to day that he is going to be a rock and will figure in the future of this franchise for years to come. It's time to shine the spotlight on our team's inability to not make stupid drive killing penalties, our coaches inability to call good plays consistently, and the inability of our defensive secondary to play together and resemble anything close to an NFL secondary. Sure, we have an abundance of big name stars in our secondary but they play about as well together as a pop warner secondary.

Should the face mask at the end of the game have been a 15 yarder? No

Should we have been in that position at all? No.

Take away the idiot penalties and the gargantuan drop by TO of a beautifully thrown 40+ yd bomb by Romo (which btw was to a receiver that had beaten dbl coverage by two steps) and we win easily. We didn't deserve this win. It appears that Bill knew exactly what he was doing when he halted Friday's practice early due to "lack of focus". If we can't get up for the teams we are supposed to beat there will be no playoffs this year. What a waste...

I applaud the Skins for coming to play. They pulled out a very ugly win. I alway believe a win is a win no matter how ugly it happens to be. This team has some soul searching to do if it is going to actually make some true noise down the stretch. I come away from this game with only one positive. Romo is the least of our worries.

Romo isnt going to be a rock for years to come, he is going to be a FA next offseason. We will probably have to draft a QB this year.

I would also like to give props to the Skins for squeaking out a tough tough ugly game. Did the better team win? Well, the better team today was the team that squeezed a FG through with no time on the clock. That's about as good as you'll get from me. Today we found we have many problems in other areas. Perhaps this week the Romo chatter will quiet down and the real issues with this team will be discussed.

Right, we aren't going to resign him?

I see us drafting a QB next year regardless but Romo is definitely going to get better. He played admirably today. I'll let the people that make the decisions behind the scenes make their decisions. At the end of the day Romo fits nicely into the QB position for this team. Let's talk about our REAL problems.

We'll resign him. No worries. Here's a better question. How does a team rack up 150+ yards in penalties?
