Just pressure Dak and watch what happens, it's not pretty.

Tyron Smith is becoming a big concern.. he seems to be good unless he's facing a speedy rusher who can get to the outside. this team played some of the worst unispired football I've ever seen in a pivotal matchup that would have gave us the lead in this division.

It wasn't the OLs fault our bus driver QB spotted the opponent 7 points. That's what lost the game. That bums not even going to be a backup in this league if he doesn't learn to protect the football.

How many threads are you going to repeat this in? Given the title of this thread, remember that we had a first down wiped off the board because Williams on the OL tackled his guy for a holding penalty to put us in 3rd and Impossible deep in our own territory in the first place. But sure, let's ignore context.

JG didn't get along with Callahan ... The reason maybe be that Callahan knew how to coach the O-line ... while Garrett ... well...

So you are going to post this in every thread, huh?

Tony Romo has been to 4 Pro Bowls as a QB and he thought that was a perfect strip sack. Almost every QB in football loses the ball on that play, the issue is the OL giving up the pressure more than anything.

It's definitely disappointing, to say the least. While I get our Pro Bowl center is out, that is no excuse. They have been pretty awful and this was suppose to be our strength. Sucks bad about Tyron. I love the guy but as a player he just straight fell off a cliff. Sucks to see but it is our reality.

Was time to talk O-line before last year. I want that new LT. This isn’t working.

Yes he has fallen off badly. I could see Dallas moving on from him after 2019 when they have an out clause. He's only 27 but something has not been right for awhile now.

Qb isn't good. OL is playing bad football. HC and all offensive staff needs a complete change out. Defense still can't generate turnovers.

Can somebody name something this team is even doing consistently well? It's pretty gutwrenching to watch.

La'el has been overrated ever since he signed. If he had been a 1st rounder he would be getting roasted and people calling to release him.

I agree. Kerrigan’s stats this game:

5 tackles
4 solo
2 sacks
1 tackle for loss
1 pass defensed
2 QB hits

Not sure why they wouldn’t try moving Collins back to guard where his power would help and Williams out to tackle where his lack of power wouldn’t hurt as much.

Dallas’ line gave up 4 sacks and 9 QB hits. I know Dak holds the ball too long at times, but you can’t blame him for everything. They were not able to run it at all today either.

The Commanders have ALWAYS given us issues - this was even a problem in 2014.

Individually, our offensive lineman are grading out well. Martin is top 5, Smith top 15, Collins is playing above average, Connor at average, with Looney at average as well.

This line is far from bad - losing your center is a big deal, but Looney is filling in and doing his job at a reasonable level for a backup. Dak isn't doing the O-line many favors in pre-snap reads and while he's in the pocket.

O-line is not a worry. Get a better QB and coaching staff.

Been saying this all year long. Our staff is so dumb

They showed Aikman losing the ball in the end zone in an eerily similar play against the Commanders in ‘92. Funny enough, Mickey or Bill just mentioned that game on the podcast a few days ago. They said Jimmy was as hot as fish grease after that game.

Yup, horseshoes and handgrenades but the Commanders got 7 points on a rare end zone strip sack and another 7 on a fluke fumble followed by a busted play 23 yard TD. Jaylon makes his normal tackle on that play and the Dallas D only gives up 9 points today.
