It’s time we see him. He wasn’t all world at Michigan, but they ran a pro offense and he looks the part at least. Watched some highlights and he looks like most TE’s in the NFL.

We kept him for a reason so hopefully he can help.

It looks like Blake Bell is the new starter with Schultz as backup. I believe it’s simply based on bells blocking ability and to help Steele

Bell did score a TD in the SB last year at least. The drops can’t happen with Schultz. The 4th down play would have never happened if not for that. Did you hear Bell is the new starter?

It could change. But he was in the unofficial depth chart

Schultz...wasted pick. Guy can beat out Jarwin and now loses out to Blake Bell.

Man I hope we see more 4 receiver sets.....I don't like any of these tight ends.......
right i rather line up an extra OT at the TE spot and keep them in to block then to trot one of them TE's out there who can't get open or block lol

He’s the Anthony brown of training camp. All hype but stinks on sundays

I will get hate but I like Brown. He is not a top corner but a solid 3-4. Plus I never heard any D Schultz hype. He has sucked since day 1.

..sounds good to me, Schultz will be scary site when he's playing.

Well... at least the team made adjustments. Had that been Garrett and the Backstreet Boys we called a coaching staff still been here, I guarantee they wouldn’t have made that move.

I'm fine with Schultz as a 3rd teamer, but not as the primary backup, and not if there isn't another backup on the roster that can step in and catch passes when the starter goes down.

Bell as the "starter" means we'll run way more 10 personnel, probably with Noah Brown.

Would be the smarter play.

We have extra DE / DT lineman...put them in as a 6th OL / TE.......
if we are going to do that why not use a backup O-linemen who is used to blocking and the rules on the offensive side of the ball?

I was shocked he made the 53 but they clearly think he would have been picked up on waivers. He was a three year starter at Michigan, he could surprise.
