It's time to face the music and completely rebuild this team like the Cowboys did when Landry was let go. It's time to dump players, contracts, coaches, & maybe even the waterboys... This "hot mess" is not going to improve and only clearing out the stench will finally close another season of stagnation. I hear it now...The coolaid drinkers will say if only & we're so close...but actually we're not that close. It's time to spend a couple of years in the basement to get some decent draft picks and a new QB to lead the next decade. It only took Washington & Indy one year to rebuild, so maybe we can too. There are only about 10 players I would go forward with and the rest can retire to mossy on to other teams for all I care. It's time to say goodbye to the RHG/Romo era while cleaning out the trash.

Sad to admit...but the version of the Cowboys were, are, destined for failure...

Time to begin again, fresh & new.

Now if we could only dump the Jones family.:banghead: :banghead:

Agree on Garrett, we are going nowhere with him. As for Romo, I am not against drafting a QB to develop. The problem is that this is a very weak QB draft, there are no "NFL ready" QBs like Luck, RG3, or Wilson in the draft.

Most of the QBs in this years draft are developmental prospects and need 1 to 2 seasons before being ready to start.

So I keep Romo, draft a developmental QB, and let Garrett go coach a CFL team.

We won't be able to rebuild in one year. It's going to take a couple of 1x15 seasons to completely retool the lines and defense. You are right that there are no great QB's in next years draft but maybe the year after. If we trade Romo and let Orten carry the water for two years, maybe then we could get a plan to build a competitive team in the NFC East. I know most here like Romo but the proof is in the pudding and I just don't think he can carry a team when the chips are down. He folds under intense pressure unlike Manning and Brady. We just gotta do it now guys or we're looking at ten more years of also ran football in Dallas.

If we keep Garrett, rebuilding would be a good idea. Maybe by the time the new players grow up, Garrett will be through with his on the job training.
