36 reps would be the most in this draft class. Also put up 36 reps on bench. I worry about his size for his long-term health though. No way you can live a long life at that size.
Hell, making him a major part of your Tush Push is worth a 5th or 6th IMO.....who's stopping him for 1-2 yards.
I know. You're worried about his height but we can coach him into keeping his pads low.
I feel like it’s borderline malpractice by the Florida football program to allow this kid to be that heavy. Someone should have stepped in and told him he can’t be on the team unless he’s under 400 lbs (and that’s being generous)
I agree, this guy is naturally massive; probably starve him if you tried to keep him at 300. BUT maybe 375 or under might be all right. Is he projected to be drafted?
I wouldn’t spend a pick on him but I wouldn’t mind redshirting him. I’d hire a full time dietitian and trainer just for him and see what 18 months brings.
There’s an athlete in there somewhere and if he can turn some fat into muscle they may just end up with something.
UDFA..has to drop 100, so won't be playing this year. If he lost weight, he'd be a decent player. With pick 247, the Dallas Cowboys select...
It sounds ridiculous on the surface, but for the hundreds of millions thrown around this game, and what’s at stake, I don’t think spending like 60k a year on a full time trainer/dietitian would be a bad idea. Absolutely redshirt him for 2025, just work on that body.I agree, this guy is naturally massive; probably starve him if you tried to keep him at 300. BUT maybe 375 or under might be all right.
if we can take flyers on Lance and Mingo I say do a UDFA deal for this kid and get his weight down. He is VERY strong.
We'd have to use two 7th round picks on him.
