I've got two new family members

What a great looking pair of Doxens, Poke. My son and I are looking at 2 here in town. We don't want to have only 1 because he would be lonely when we are at work/school. The 2 we are looking at are short-haired though. I can't have all of that hair all over my PIMP-DADDY furniture.

They are a marvelous breed and some of the best house dogs on the planet. Great names.

Well done bud.

I actually had to force my fingers to type that last part, but I did it.

Thanks for all the nice comments all, and forgive me if I beat everyone down w/ Ernie & Lamar pics/videos over the next few weeks. ;)

:laugh2: You're right looking for 2 D, they def thrive w/ a partner.

Don't discount the long hairs because of shedding. I just lost my 16 yr old full size LH. A simple 10 min brushing every other week or so, coupled w/ keeping his coat cut short in the summer, and he shed less than my 12 yr old smooth coat.

Now, f-off ya dirty okie. :p:

My multi-coloured poodle is cuter than all of them ;)

Paris, is that you!!??

:p:

I like poodles too, they're soooo smart!

Congrats! Like daschoo, I'm more of a cat person, but those two are cutier than heck. :) Love the video too. Who's that laying in the doggie bed watching them tussle?

Thks DE. That's Goober, my 12 yr old smooth coat doxie.

I liked how they just barrel in to each other and knock each other down. :laugh2:

Dude, that was tame compared to some "battles" I've witnessed!

It's like a miniature, extended version of a sat night at Michael Vick's.

I can dig it.

So, I'm guessing Ernest will not be having any coffee, tea, or punch, thank you.

when you open the door to go outside, do they run right in front of your legs?

No, not really. They kind of cue off my older dog and learn pretty quickly what to and what not to do.

They're smart little dogs and one mishap like that, if it does happen, and they remember it.

You must live your lives in constant terror, surrounded by such naked ferocity on a daily basis... :D
