I beleive the heaviest he ever was at the way end of his career....246 ...250 but in his prime he was about 215-225...

If you saw LA last season he bounced back from the disgrace of 2003...however he was only a ProBowler out of respect....He;s no longer a top 20 Lineman...

I put out a rational, vanilla response in disagreement without calling you anything. Respond to it.

I never said he was a top 20 lineman. I said he was a top 10 guard. He blows up defenders, blocks like a wall, etc. The only gripe I have with him is that he no longer has the agility to be as effective in the next level. But he was not a Pro Bowler out of respect in 2004 - he was a dominant guard.

Further, Spagnola, on the Ticket, made a terrific point. The fitness test is something like 900 yards in 4 minutes or something like that. Not everyone passed, but Larry quit, which is why he is sitting. Maybe you are right - not the best thing to show the rookies. However, that isn't enough to make me want to cut someone who plain makes my line better. Never in a game will he have to run like that.

Larry has never been a runner, and, if you look at the pictures, is in as good shape as ever.
